“I used SE Plumbing in the past to install a sink faucet I bought online. His installation was done professionally and at a great price. When the faucet had a problem (not related to the installation), I had to get a new part from the manufacturer. SE Plumbing helped troubleshoot the problem, and after the new part came, they came right back and installed it and it has been problem free since. More recently (September 2018) I called them on a Sunday for a backed up bathtub and they came within an hour. He did a quick analysis and determined he could not fix the problem and suggested I try Electric Snake. He DID NOT CHARGE me for his time and I was very happy with that. In the past, I had a different plumber come for a different problem. That person was unable to fix it but charged me > $100.00 for his time. Although people should be paid for their time, I was glad that SE Plumbing helped me out. I would definitely use them again.”

“Oil delivery guy could not get his truck down our long, unplowed drive, so he parked on the road and snaked the heavy hose through the woods to our house. Had to trek over rock walla and steep inclines and deep snow. Plus get the hose over the deer fence without damaging it. Very much appreciated on one of those record cold days. This is the kind of attentive service we have regularly received from Downey for nearly 20 years.”

“Called on 11-19-18 and spoke with Lisa. Very personable and very helpful. Explained everything detail. Lisa even went back in her records and found that the previous owners had used their services in 2006 and knew the layout of the cesspool, overflow etc...It was purely by chance that I called this company after reading the reviews. I thought I’d have to wait a week or so for an appointment. Not so. Lisa scheduled me for an appointment after 2pm for the very next day. Tommy called before heading over to let me know his ETA and showed up less than 30mins later, and Hector, his associate, came a few minutes after. Both men were very professional. Very courteous and helpful. Explained everything in detail and even checked to see if a seal was broken on my toilet and took it from there. The men worked together like a well oiled machine. Took a full assessment of the situation and ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. Nicest and most professional men. I could not have been more pleased with their service and professionalism. Top notch. I’d refer Ray Scudder to anyone. PS: Lisa is the best! She really knows her stuff and there are no gimmicks. She returns calls promptly and is very helpful.”
