“After the Barnsider closed, we almost forgot about this place. It's been awhile and we stopped in for Saturday lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The leaf-peepers were streaming in and were seated quickly. We sat at bar tables and enjoyed the Wellington Meatloaf and comfort foods on a chilly day. We will return again when in the neighborhood.”

The worst food ever eaten here has been good. We went to Mizu Japanese Sushi this past Wednesday. We went on a recommendation of family. The staff was friendly, polite, professional and helpful.I have to say it was fantastic! The place is very nicely decorated, not a really hugh place but had several tables, good enough for a party to be had. The Sushi was EXCELLENT! Fresh, melted in your mouth fresh feeling! They have many varieties of rolls, and specialty rolls. We tried out two specialty rolls and three regular rolls. All had a nice fresh taste and no yesterday fish feel. I have to say go give this place a try! You will enjoy it if you like Sushi. I will go back!”

“It's about time that Yorktown had a restaurant like this - high quality food and excellent service without a long drive. I came with my parents and wife for a special occasion, and we shared most of the dishes. Our favorite entree was the Petite Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection. Our favorite appetizers were specials: scallops with prosciutto, and mussels in marinara. We also loved the Hudson Valley salad with its perfectly balanced balsamic vinaigrette, and the Hudson Valley potatoes, which were crispy and flavorful. We ate the food so fast that we forgot to take photos! The service was excellent, attentive without making us feel rushed. For those who care about ambience, that was also good. The restaurant is brand new, well decorated, clean, and has good low-light and the right level of music to block out other tables' conversations without making it impossible to hear your own table. We will definitely be coming back next time we want a good steak dinner.”

“We went for dinner on a Friday evening.. The restaurant is small & cozy. Service was very good. We had the lobster meatballs, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, sliders and french onion soup. The crab cakes were AMAZING, the sliders were good as well as the coconut shrimp. The french onion soup had pulled pork in it which was not very good, the soup itself was delicious but they destroyed it with the pulled pork. I would pass on the lobster meatballs. The bone in ribeye was a total disappointment. There was no bone, my steak was 80% fat and the cream of spinach on top of the steak was wierd. I had the brownies for dessert. They were AMAZING & made up for the steak. I gave 4 stars because of the location and the friendly staff. They need to work on the menu because its such a shame to have such a nice place and a weird menu of food.”
