“Great meals. For winter: Loved the soups, mussels and mini choices. Pies are great too. The sayings on the inside walls make you smile and open conversations with friends in ways that are unusual. Service is slow. So allow for a leisurely meal. For Summer: sitting by the outdoor stream is fun either on the deck or on the sand watching the kids play. In some evenings they have bands. “Went to Jolly Fisherman for the first time this past weekend with a friend who always speaks very highly of the restaurant and even before they brought the food, I was in love with the restaurant. The attention was spectacular, very helpful explaining the menu and the dishes. The menu it's self was mouth watering to read and we received our plates, it was food envy with the other people's plates. I had the halibut which was on their daily special menu and it was cooked perfectly. The cheesecake was amazing. For being a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty slow as my friends pointed out, but I imagined its because people were at the beach or on vacation, consider making reservations for the weekend.”

“We came across Gyro World by accident after doing some local activities nearby and needing some sustenance. A quick Yelp search showed it was 2.6 miles away and we both felt like Greek food would hit the spot. We didn't expect to be so pleased with our experience. We sat outside on a partly cloudy afternoon. Diego, our server, was extremely helpful and friendly. He'd been with the restaurant two out of the three years they've been open, he told us. We decided to share the Mediterranean mixed platter ($20.95). We started with the salad and pita bread, which was warm, toasted and tasty. The salad had a great lemon vinaigrette, too. Even considering we were sharing the platter, the portions were amazing. The spinach pie was superb as was the gyro (lamb). The pastitsio and mousaka were new for us but we enjoyed them as well. Over all we really enjoyed our meal here. The portions were great, the food was tasty, the restaurant was clean inside (bathrooms and service area) and our server was very friendly and professional. We plan on making a dedicated trip to come back even though we're not from the area.”

I am not sure but it may have been the cinnamon. The lost of a fifth star is due to the lack of ice cream for shakes and bacon for our first choice, a salad. Despite these disappointments I will try B.Good again a different location.”

“We were going to see a show at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College and looking to get a drink and a bite to eat before. It couldn't get any more convenient than Radigans Pub which was right up the block. They have a large selection of wine by the glass and good selection of local brews on tap. There were 6 of us at the table and all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. The menu contains a wide selection of soups, sandwiches, burgers and your standard pub fare. They also have a nice selection of entrees and specials of the day so there is something for everyone.”
