“How do I do this place justice? Since moving to the area, we have been looking for a new deli. Google/food apps have shown some places, but their reviews weren’t so great. We have passed by Genoa Importing so many times not really knowing what a great gem it is. This place was surprisingly delicious. Doesn’t look so much like a deli from the outside, but they deliver. Not only do they make fresh sandwiches, but serve prepared foods. The bread... I believe the bread makes or breaks a sandwich experience. The ciabatta bread that the Alex sandwich was on had that crispy outside and soft inside. The roast beef, perfect. Everything about it was great. This place has become the go to deli. Cannot praise this place enough. Cant wait to try other things!”

Their combo of rice and egg noodles dish was delicious, fresh ingredients and can feed easily 2 people. All their portions are definitely easy enough to share with other. The fried pork sizzling platter was crispy and had such great flavor. Some of their main dishes don't come with rice- highly recommend getting their garlic rice to pair with any protein dish. “Absolutely love this place, I’m somewhat of a regular probably order 1-2 times a week when I can lol. I’ve tried nearly everything already and it’s all very good. The meats are tender, juicy and well seasoned you can’t really go wrong in your choice. I’ve tried many wings since I’ve moved up here and this place by far has the best wings hands down. It’s not about the sauce (which is also good) but the actual wings themselves are smokey, and moist. Not the typical deep fried bar variety. The french fries are also a favorite at my house because of the crispness and the seasoning used. I’ve had BBQ all over the country at well known establishments and can confidently say this is the real deal. But that’s not all, I had an issue with the food delivery service I used and had to replace my order after it didn’t show up. Even though they did nothing wrong on their end they still called and even gave me a little something for my troubles. That’s good customer service! 10/10”

“The Otesaga is a grand old resort hotel that has been gracefully brought into the 21st century. Our room is beautiful and comfortable. Climate control is easy to use and does the job. It isn't easy to make a historic building ADA compliant. I'd give the Otesaga a B, as a guest with mobility and hearing issues. Entering the building through a side entrance is a bit of a downer. The bed in our room was high enough to provide a challenge. However, the shower with bench in the bathroom was great, as was the turning room in both the bedroom and bathroom. We've enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Went here for the first time today. I was so torn between all the menu choices and drinks. Ordered the 'rainbow cookie' milkshake which according to the menu was supposed to have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, and rainbow cookie pieces inside. Instead I got a strawberry milkshake, and not even a good one. It had way too much milk in it, not enough ice cream. This was my only bad experience really. Otherwise I got the tortellini Mac n cheese appetizer which i split with someone and it was really good, but extremely filling. So when I got my main course (the Matrix burger with a beyond burger patty) I could barely eat it. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, sadly. 🥲 Gave 4 stars for the $12 bad strawberry shake but I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu.”

“I think this is a great quick lunch spot! Their food is on the cheaper side, especially for their location.
