“I ordered the Monday special, grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese was made to perfection. Thoroughly buttered before cooking so that there was crisp all over the bread. Plenty of American cheese. Hearty tomato soup. I also tasted my husband’s macaroni and cheese. It was warm and creamy…so good! Others in my party ordered the grilled chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, mac and cheese, and Yo Eddie sandwich. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. If you’re not a regular, look at the menu ahead of time, and be ready to order when you get to the counter! They move people through quickly and rightfully so as a lunch spot in downtown Albany.”

On top of all of this they make super duper good Dominican food. I had the Mofongo de Chicharrón and it was so so so gooddddd! This place has everything! I definitely recommend the tres leche cake, arroz con leche o Habichuela de dulce if you have a sweet tooth. If you come here for breakfast you have to try the famous Mangu con los 4 golpes!!!! “I opted for take-out as it was on my way back home, this was my first time eating from Sogo Asian Fusion. We ordered two spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, cashew chicken, and some sushi...the amount of sweet and sour sauce they give is great as you always run out when you get those small cups, the cashew chicken was on point, the cashews were soft and perfectly cooked. When I walked in, the restaurant had a beautiful atmosphere dimly lit, clean, and certainly appeared to be more upscale than the typical restaurant of that sort. I think it's worth giving a shot if you're in the area, their menu is quite large too.”

“Que Chevere is such a great find within Essex Market (located downstairs in the Market Line) and all their food is truly made with LOVE FROM PUERTO RICO. They offer such delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food - I absolutely loved the shrimp mofongo, the shrimp was sooo good and cooked perfectly, it had a ton of flavor. You must try their amazing empanadas - I tried a beef one and it was great, also loved the salsas it came with.”

“Soul Food indeed 👍 everybody can't cook turkeys wings, the turkey wings were omgoodness delicious you have to prepare and take your time with turkey wings or you will be disappointed chewing the poultry. Many souls food restaurants cook their turkey wings too fast which cause them to be tough. I truly enjoyed the dinner at this location which was something simple mac cheese, yams and string beans. A good tasty southern style dinner is always a yes for me. I will definitely dine there again. ✔️”

“Another good dinner from the Panda. There are a lot of good Chinese restaurants in Long Beach, this is one of my favorites. I called for delivery and Jaden answered. I went through an order with all kinds of changes to menu items because my kids are picky and I'm trying to cut down on sodium. He gave me some cool suggestions and it worked out. Keep in mind some of these dishes were modified a bit (some ingredients were left out or replaced with other ones). But here's what we got tonight and it was good. Orange Beef Gyoza dumplings Chow Mei fun Hot and sour soup *homemade iced tea - tastes real good, loaded with sugar Tip: put some of the Mei fun noodles in the hot and sour soup, tasty.”
