“I love Golden Wok for quick and cheap Chinese Food. They have a dish I haven’t seen at other similar Chinese takeout spots called Spicy Basil Chicken which comes with white rice or for an extra buck or two, you can get fried rice instead—a pretty good meal for under $7-$9. I love this dish—it’s not anything super spicy, it just has a quite mild kick to it—and it’s also not crazy greasy. Definitely don’t plan to eat-in. There’s just one small booth as it’s a tiny hole-in-the-wall type old place, and certainly nothing that offers much atmosphere. But for tasty, rather inexpensive takeout or delivery, they’re very good. Very good to note: it is CASH ONLY—both for takeout as well as delivery.”

We came out here traveling and with no idea where to go we rolled up into this place. Service was very nice. Pricing was reasonable. Portions were good size. I tried half a dozen items on the menu. The Boston clam chowder was really nice and had some good chunks of clam. The Manhattan chowder was equally tasty and was the winner between my choice. The Reuben sandwich was really yummy but it would have loved to have seen a little bit more meat included. Fish and chips was really good. Greek salad was massive and very tasty. The cheesecake selection was huge and we tried two different cheesecakes both were excellent and it seemed that none of them you can go wrong with. In no ways was I overly thrilled with everything but I really enjoyed my meal and it was definitely a good find on my way to Boston.”

“My husband and I had a reservation at 5:30 last Friday. We have a wonderful time with nothing but positive things to say. The food was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and a cocktail. Neither disappointed. I reserved a tent indoors and it was very romantic. We sat in our own area under drapes and a candle lit table. The service was incredible. Everyone was attentive, efficient, and very friendly. Decor was also beautiful. I literally have zero negative things to say about this place. “Great Stop but come early. It does have limited space and there are others using the space for repairs but hey, it's their lot to use as they see fit. I stop here all the time when my schedule and timing allow. It does tend to get full by 5pm so plan ahead. Great access to Historic Albany. I walk into downtown all the time for exercise and a some good food. Have never been hassled here one bit and the staff is professional & courteous. My two cents, enjoy!”
