We quickly set up a time for him to come and take a look and give me a price. Then we scheduled a time for him to come a few days later (the Monday after Christmas). “Pure class. I called Doug at Hudson Cabinetry Design early in the process of commissioning a 15-foot built-in, floor-to-ceiling media wall unit. He was incredibly generous with his time, spending about an hour discussing our goals and his company's capabilities. We ended up hiring a different company with a lower quote. But progressing the project with them ended up being a huge struggle, and two months in, they just stopped responding. We quickly went back to Doug, and the difference in professionalism was striking. He was at our apartment the next day to take measurements, significantly improved on the other company's preliminary design, and gave us a reasonable work timeline that held. Doug also pointed out the inferior materials and fabrication proposed by the other company that had allowed them to quote lower. Throughout the process, Doug was very responsive and provided invaluable guidance. We had specific dimensional requirements to maximize storage for a vinyl record collection, while keeping aesthetics in line with our pre-war apartment. Doug always gave us a range of good options when it came to design choices, and was patient and accommodating through rounds of tweaks. We especially appreciated his candor when we floated ideas that he didn't think would work well. The installation team—Cesar, Don Bolivar and David—were also fantastic. In addition to top-notch work with clear attention to detail (especially along our uneven ceiling and floor, and around existing mouldings), they were super friendly, tidy, and respectful of our home throughout the two-day job. It was a pleasure working with Hudson Cabinetry Design from start to finish. We hope to have an excuse to work with Doug and his team again.”

“This shop has such a beautiful selection of yarn! The first display that I saw when I walked in was from an indie brand and that theme followed throughout the shop. They do also carry commercial brands, and anything I would have wanted to pick up, but seeing the indie brands and their in-house yarn made it extra special. The person working there was very kind and helped me find a needle size that I was looking for. I will definitely add CeCe's to my list for the next time I'm in the area.”

“As the owner / operator of MAC I highly recommend Hobson Window. Their installers have great design ideas and the skills to follow through on commercial jobs. I have attached the pictures of glass office partitions for our sales staff and a glass vestibule that was fabricated on site. This internal vestibule has made a tremendous difference in our heating and cooling expenses. Hobson also does custom mirror fabrication and installation as you will see in the attached pictures. There is no other locally owned Mirror, Glass, Window, Door, and screen shop in our area with this much experience on all levels.”

“I wish we could give 6 stars! Joroba was quick to come over. Traps were set up, raccoon was caught that moved into our roof attic. Then 2 weeks later another one decided to chew a hole in the other side of the roof. Once again Joroba was quick to come over, raccoon caught and holes were patched up with wire mesh. Great service. “This pharmacy is one of three in the area but they are definitely customer and detailed orientated in the services they offer. The pharmacist Alex remembers people personally down to your scripts. Even if you forget a refill you will be delightfully reminded when they are delivered. Also reminders if you need updated scripts. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous also consistently same for many years that they definitely know who you are upon entering if you’re a regular. They also provide notary services, faxing and have a copy machine for customer use at a low .05 per page. You can also refill and pay phones here.”
