However they don't let you test ride bikes, and they don't give any 'guarantees' or any kind of warranty on the bikes. Which makes sense; they're a repair shop, not a bike selling shop; they're there because some people understand what the product is and purchase it because its not easy to source. The bikes are great products and they are friggen tanks. Some people have been using their bikes for multiple years (me included) and thanks to this shop they still run like new.”

“My review of Islander Pools begins back in March (2022) when I learned that my mother-in-law was going to disassemble her above ground pool while simultaneously leaving three granddaughters without a summer swimming hole (yes, that would be my three daughters). Within a matter of hours, I was ready to act on what my wife and I had talked about for a few years; to put in our own pool. In my customary fashion, I dove deep into research and reviews and over the span of 72 hours, visited Islander as well as a competitor on multiple face-to-face occasions. But allow me to share why it was I ultimately chose Islander over the competition. I work in sales. I LIVE sales. Good, clean, honest sales built on rapport, trust and a “white glove” customer service experience. In the 2-3 days that I contemplated my purchase and had numerous questions, Andrew Apple @ Islander extended to me the very same level of customer service and sales experience that I dedicate myself to personally every day. When I emailed a question, I had a reply within minutes. Not just my first email or my 3rd, but after a handful+ of emails spanning 48+ hours, Andrew was basically my personal consultant. He was there, immediately and addressed my questions/concerns with confidence and certainty. The process to purchase a pool with Andrew, in my opinion, could not have been any more pleasant, and comfortable and in the end, confirmed to me that I had clearly made the right choice! Wait, it gets better! The process post-purchase – all the elements that I never thought of; permits, issues with permits, delays with permits, installation rescheduling, permits being approved and celebrated, digging out for the pool, installation, post-installation clean-up, water care, chemicals, questions, closing and surely other elements that I’ve missed – Andrew as well as the entirety of the Islander team (I’ve met quite a few people during my 1st season of pool ownership and they are all equally as dedicated and friendly and caring as Andrew) continue to go absolutely ABOVE AND WELL BEYOND to ensure that (1) your experience of investing in a pool was indeed a great choice and that (2) you did extremely well by choosing Islander Pools. I’m so glad that I delayed my comments of Islander Pool so that my review could span an entire season (from purchase to install to questions re: care to closing) because the comments meant so much to me when I was contemplating my purchase 7 months ago – I hope that my review proves fruitful in your decision. For my family and I, it proved to be one of the best decisions I made thus far in 2022!”
