“Jim was there within 3 hours of my first call to inspect my roof. Boy did it need help. 2 layers of shingles and all the plywood needed to be replaced, plus it essentially had no ventilation. 4 days later, Jim and his crew showed up at 8am to start the work. At 6pm, they were packed up and gone. Not only was the job finished, but it was incredible work!! This is definitely who you want to call.”

“This place is very beautiful and in my opinion the best way to get around and enjoy its beauty is on a bike. Weather you bring your own or rent a city bike at the entrance. The only down side was the lock of drink/food places, it looks like they currently have this part of the park under construction. An alternative would be to bring your own drinks/food. My boys and I had a great time riding the city bikes all around and enjoyed the beautiful views very much.”

“I’ve been hearing so much about this spot, so I needed to check it out. They don’t take reservations so get here early to grab a spot. The inside of the restaurant is busy and functional, it’s meant for you to dine in quickly and get out. Try many menu options, but not really stood out. Nasi Lemak was excellent, probably the best I’ve had in NYC. The cross cross mushrooms and oyster omelette were also good. Unfortunately, other dishes like the chicken fat rice, and the beef rendang were flat and flavorless. The best part is the prices - you can try a lot of plates for a relatively good deal in New York City.”

Obviously any type of treatment court is going to be difficult however I am so thankful to Judge Cushner, Craig, and all of the other people involved in my treatment plan. I had the pleasure of working with some amazing people who treated me with nothing but respect. They are always there for you. Very supportive and since graduating I got full custody back of my kids and I feel like if I didn't have those people in my corner it would have been much harder. I'd recommend anyone who struggles with substance abuse to reach out. They let you sit in the court room voluntarily for a few weeks just to see how everything is. The Judge is fair. Very honest at times and doesn't sugar coat anything but she cares. The women and men in drug treatment court are like family. We all care about each other. Any addict knows it's not going to be easy but it will be worth it. Just remember the judge will only do what is best for you(even if you don't see it that way at first) Thanks.”

“Honestly, I think I found my favorite boardgame cafe! It's a cute shop with a lot of nice decor, a wide selection of games, a lot of tasty drinks and MOST IMPORTANTLY GREAT SERVICE. The owners are really sweet and nice. They are very helpful / patient in explaining the different drinks and toppings & they are very knowledgeable about the boardgames. My friends and I have visited a few times, and each time we like to try out a new game. The owners are able to explain the rules so its easy to comprehend. Highly recommend!”

“I personally think Ascend in general provides a great atmosphere & curriculum for the students to learn and elevate. There are always bad apples in the bunch sometimes but that's everywhere. I just feel like SOME of the teachers need to be a little more compassionate towards the students. Everyone is different and you don't have to be so harsh ALL the time ; especially with kindergartners. Overall ASCEND has a great system and I hope they keep growing and being successful. They prepare the kids for the future and that's most important.”
