“We just moved to Albany from the DMV looking for a church home.Mega churches were not our thing. But, Life church was the first of 3 churches we visited and we went back after the 3rd. Great atmosphere. Love how it is Multicultural. The word is authentic, grounded in scriptures ( which is something you don’t get in a lot of mega churches), not feel good sermons but ones that sanctify and convict you to live for Christ and follow him. I am always blessed and edified by the sermons. Plus, the multiple services are great for family with little kids like us. And oh their children’s ministry is awesome! Also one of the things we were looking for in a church. They email you follow up materials to discuss with your children during the week to keep them engaged in the word. I will be honest, the prerecorded messages threw me off a bit at the beginning because I was not used to it. But, it makes sense for a church of the size so everyone is hearing the same thing to promote unity across campuses. So many opportunities to serve and get involved, which is great! And, once we became part of the church, I found that they are doing great things in the community and the world at large to impact it for God. And I am so glad to be part of it.”

Throughout our project (a major patio covering and fireplace) they were helpful and consultative every step of the way. As new homeowners, and undergoing our first major renovation project, they were immensely helpful by; explaining what our plans actually meant, helping us determine whether they were (or were NOT) what we wanted, navigating the permit and inspection process, coordinating with our architect (making recommendations) and most importantly helping us problem-solve the unexpected hiccups that always come up. We had a unique project where we didn’t do things in the correct order, but the John J team (Paul Coppolino specifically) helped us work through all of the issues and ultimately made everything look great functionally and esthetically. They were also very straightforward and fair about pricing, overages and timeline. All of our friends who come to the house now give us the best compliments on the new addition and we are very pleased with it. Here are the before and after shots of what happens when a salon messes up so badly the mail is bent backwards and HURTSSSSS a lot!!! They fixed it up without a hassle and a quick appt for the next day. I had a tip already on that pinky now. But the salon I had gone to did it improperly making my nail bent backwards, sticking up in the air. Really hurt a lot! Unfortunately when Merrick Crystal Nails fixed my nail, the entire nail had to be cut off bc of this problem. But there was a tip put back on and done properly this time around. It’s safe to say that I’m more than pleased. Happy to come back again. Thank you again for fixing this dilemma!! The before is from fashion nails and spa in wantagh. The after is from Merrick crystal nails. What a huge difference!!! Mind you this has neverrrrrr happened before with or without tips. 🤦🏻♀️”

“This is a true nursery, unlike the pseudo garden centers at the big box stores, home improvement stores, and supermarkets. Don't get me wrong, the chains have their place. They work for lots of people. But Guernsey's is for you if you want a broad selection of plant material in a variety of sizes, most of it grown locally. "Grown locally" is important. Those plants are acclimated - they are grown here and are used to our climate. A rhododendron grown in the Carolinas is lush and full, but has never seen our windy, 0-degree January days. Plant survival is never certain, but your chances are better with Northern-grown material. Also, Guernsey's hasn't lasted 130 years by bringing in plants, half-neglecting them, then marking them down. You will still find decent specimens after the Spring rush. Selection is better then most places. Prices are competitive. Service is good. Bottom line, this is worth the drive when the limited selection of run-of-the-mill trees, shrubs, and perennials at the box stores won't do. For me, that is almost always...”

It was super fast, I waited for 1 minute before seeing the Nurse, and then another couple minutes to see the Doctor. Doctor has examined me right away made proper observations pointing to potential issues with left knee meniscus and right knee tendon, ordered X-ray, it was performed within minutes, super professional staff.
