“I have read a lot of reviews here, and the negative ones make it seems like I'm reading about a hospital in an alternate reality. I have been to this hospital many times and have never had anything but great care there. It's very clean, the hospital staff is caring and helpful, the doctors and nurses that I have been associated with have been amazing. They treat you like you're family. Yes, you sometimes have to wait at the emergency room, but that's the way it is at all hospitals, in my experience. We are so luck to have a small local hospital in our area that has caring, quality doctors, nurses, and staff. They have been working hard in the last several years to bring in specialists so we don't have to go to Buffalo. As far as the review about the emergency room not letting anyone go in with their loved one, I have never seen that. Their rule is to let one person go in with each patient. I have personally experienced that several times at all times of day and night. They have even let two people go in on occasion. When the emergency room doctor had to give me the news that my mom was terminal, he let my husband come in also to help me cope with such bad news. Long live Bertrand Chaffee Hospital!”

The professionalism of the entire staff was appreciated, and the meticulous attention to detail was evident when the install team arrived. Giving extra attention to the location of the fence posts and avoiding any septic system components was also greatly appreciated, as was the extra care given to avoid any damage to our lawn. “Driving in the area, we saw a bunch of cars and had to stop and check out LynOaken Farms. It was a great stop on a nice Fall day. There were many varieties of apples, food options in the pavilion, places to take pictures etc. The patio was open as well. There was also a winery, cider & beer section (inside). There was a nice selection of wines, ciders, beer and even distillery options. Some from on location and others from other area sources. I chose a cider sample (4 oz pours). All were pretty tasty with distinctly different (tried those on the dry end). Sweeter options available as well. Staff was friendly. Slushies were available too. Unfortunately they did not have glasses the day we went and instead they used plastic glasses. I would compare this to a much smaller but less hectic version of Becker Farms. If you are looking for something similar but different, I would certainly recommend checking out LynOaken Farms.”
