“I have had children at he Sunshine House going on 14 years. My oldest started when she was 1 and I still have 2 that are in the after school programs now. My oldest is now 15 followed by an 8 year old and a 6 year old. During these 14 years, we have seen many changes and thankfully all for the positive. The majority of the teachers love the students and it shows daily. I love how the teachers know who I am and are able to feel comfortable communicating with me. I love the activities my children did when they were in the earlier grades and now, as after school, the extended time outside to play and be kids. All three of my children started Kindergarten at their school on track and slightly above. There will always be positives/negatives in any place, but I feel that the Sunshine House in Concord has been a very positive place for my children.”

“Overall, my daughter has had a wonderful experience at this school. In particular, out of the 4 teachers she's had, 3 have been FANTASTIC, and the 4th was still a really good teacher. The only honest, negative feedback we can give is with the busing system and with fundraising. The bus is late (typically 30 minutes) AT LEAST once a week on average...and often times it is late 2-3 times a week. While the school does usually call, it has become a major issue when trying to get to work in the mornings. Also, as other reviews have stated, there ARE ALOT OF FUNDRAISERS. They are structured such that the kids get rewards for raising more money. They are very frequent (and as most parents do, we lean on the same people to contribute in each one, grandparents, etc.) They glorify the rewards so much that my daughter gets REALLY sad and upset if she is unable to earn, for example, a limo ride, and all her friends get to go without her. The fundraising program uses this to almost force parents and grandparents into donating so that their kids do not feel alienated and left out. I HONESTLY DONT KNOW HOW WE WILL DO IT ONCE WE HAVE MULTIPLE KIDS IN SCHOOL AT ONE TIME! As soon as one fundraiser is over, another begins immediately. It truly is overwhelming. THE SCHOOL SHOULD REMEMBER WE ALSO PAY TAXES TO SUPPORT OUR PUBLIC SYSTEMS. It is often hard to see where the $25,000 that some of these raise goes, and what the money contributes to. It OBVIOUSLY doesn't go to busing. IT IS VERY EASY TO RANT WHEN SOMETHING UPSETS US. I should fairly reiterate....MY DAUGHTER HAS HAD A WONDERFUL EDUCATION EXPERIENCE OVERALL. HER TEACHERS HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING TO SAY THE LEAST!!! Each one has left their own positive impression on her. They have nurtured her special needs and we've really seen her develop a love of learning AND a LOVE FOR SCHOOL that is priceless. My wife and i have honestly chosen NOT to pursue our own opportunities and move, because we are so fortunate to be in this school. Overall, back off the fundraising, and the educational experience here would be near flawless.”

“Went here twice today. First for me and then for my son, both of us got "Great Clips". Yeah I know bad joke. I've came to this location for my last several haircuts. Today Maria handled my cut and she was fantastic. After the school day I brought my son back for a trim and he was seen by Jung. She was very good with him she talked with him and made him feel very comfortable. The wait has always been very short and the cost is reasonable. We will both return and I would recommend to others.”

“I LOVE this Publix! Have been going here since they opened for sushi, chicken salad, fresh salads, etc! Went today for lunch and saw in the sushi section they have poke bowls! “Save Green Concord is on top of everything! I'm thrilled to have found Save Green! Having left my old storage unit in Ohio, and arriving in Concord having no idea on what I needed or where to go. As I entered, two young ladies, Kat and Marlene greeted me with a smile, welcoming me to have a seat and asked me about my storage needs. Kat assisted me with a unit and supplies. Helping me get a unit and supplies. There are other facilities in the area but this one by far is the friendliest in the area, 100% satisfied would highly recommend!”
