“My family is relocating to the Charlotte area. We were in town to tour places to live and childcare facilities. While driving, we saw that Goddard was in close proximity to a potential living space. We stopped in, without an appointment. It was nap time for the kiddos and lunch time for the staff - clearly not an ideal time for a tour. Jennifer and the front desk staff greeted and welcomed us with open arms. They provided us a lay of the land. I’m extremely grateful for the warm welcome, even without an appointment AND during staff lunch break. The facility is very inviting. I was also impressed by the “Culture Week” sign-up sheets I saw attached to each classroom door. Though we didn’t meet any teachers, we were impressed by the facility. “I have taken my 6 year old there for swimming for the past year and a half. He has learned to swim and is also learning basic swim techniques. The instructor is so good with him and really knows how to be patient yet strict with a hyper little boy. I also go to the workout classes! It's like a second family everyone in the class talks to one another and has a fun time and the workouts are amazing and there are so many options.”

“I grew up in Rochester and ate Abbott's at Charlotte Beach probably from the time it was ok to have. Like 1 yrs old or less?!! Moved here at 29, 28 years ago and have always told people about it and how I missed it! Concord is a bit of a ride from where I am so haven't had time to visit yet. Would love to have an Abbott's close to The Park Road shopping center. It would definitely rise to the top! FYI Chocolate Almond was my go to, awesome!”

Loved the “laid back vibe” and professional yet friendly barbers- “great guys” 3. My IT-challenged husband specifically asked me to post an excellent review for the shop. He’s already talking about his next visit. (*I’m a little worried about this, because he doesn’t have that much hair and if he gets addicted to Sambuco Barber Shop it won’t be long before he has no hair left- and then where will he be?!? “Who doesn’t love an Indian store within walking distance. This is a very neatly organized and a nice neighborhood grocery store. Decent selection. If you don’t find anything in the store, they try to make them available if you ask them. Customer service is very good. Great selection of fresh veggies. Fresh homemade chapatis are available everyday.”
