I first heard about Senior Community Center of NC two years ago. I was both excited and amazed that there is a facility that offers so much assistance to both participants and their families. I was fortunate enough to join this facility and meet some of the most compassionate staff of any place I have ever worked. I am fortunate also that I get to spend my days with some incredible participants. I have learned so much and hope the families of each participant knows how thankful we at Senior Community Center are to allow us to spend time and make some great memories with your loved one. We are a family.

First word that comes to mind when I think of VOA/pace is “Family”. It is rare these days to find an organization that is committed, compassionate, and concern for others, the way that I’ve seen here. Every day is an adventure and look forward to helping others daily with my coworkers and administrative staff, as we set out to explore ways to use our God given talents and skills. Some of us use our hands to uplift and assist, some of us use our muscle to help carry the weight of the world, and we are all brave because truly caring for someone is not for the faint of heart. It takes focus, critical, thinking, common sense, and character. Here at VOA/pace, we provide all of this, and more . It is truly a blessing to be a part of a team of amazing heroes. Despite the worlds kryptonite that sometimes might discourage one of the links in our chains, we stand strong and use our wisdom and skills to overcome the obstacles together. For the last 4.5 years I've had the pleasure of working at PACE! Our team puts their heart and soul into caring for and providing the best service possible for all participants. Everyone here is inventive and passionate about their profession. I highly recommend this facility!!
