As parents of a child newly diagnosed with an eating disorder, we didn't know what to expect, and had a lot of anxiety about how treatment would unfold. But from the moment we walked in the door at Veritas, we felt that we were in excellent hands. Our daughter was placed in the residential program at Veritas and then when she was ready, transitioned to the day hospital program. Every step of the way, our child was cared for with kindness and professionalism. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. It felt more like a nice dorm than a hospital. The team used state of the art therapies to treat the patients and it was extremely effective. Our whole family was treated with care and respect. The therapists, dieticians, medical providers and therapeutic assistants were all so professional and kind. It is hard for me to believe that only two months later we are so far along on the recovery journey. I don't know where we would have been without Veritas. If you are a parent seeking care for your child with an eating disorder, I can't imagine a place better than Veritas. I'm sure there are some unhappy employees who have left Veritas and written negative reviews, but the employees I met were without exception professional and seemed deeply committed to caring for their patients. And almost all of the other parents who were there with us, (and we spent a lot of time with the other parents) expressed strong positive feelings about Veritas. Many of them had been treated other places previously and thought Veritas was by far a superior experience. Honestly, I feel they saved our child's life and helped get our family back on track. I'm so grateful to Veritas.”
