“Southfork is great! Every time I pop in to visit my mother, no matter what day or what time, I ALWAYS find her well cared for. Never have I found a single need unmet, and that's saying something. FREQUENTLY I find aids simply visiting and chatting with Mom and they always ask if she needs anything before they leave her room. They genuinely want to make her comfortable and happy. The facility is well maintained and absolutely spotless at all times and never even once have I smelled any kind of odor. At meal times, the dining room is full of staff members helping to serve the residents, even the administrative staff pitches in. Phenomenal! There are activities and various outings taking place almost continuously, and residents' doors are decorated with their most recent craft projects. There is an over all positive atmosphere at Southfork and I actually enjoy spending time there. The staff are more than competent, and have earned my trust. They promptly inform me of any concerns about my mother, and I have peace of mind knowing she's in good hands there. That's worth more than I can say. If I had one criticism, it would be that there seems to be no particular staff person for the front desk. I assume it's a cost control issue, but it gives a false, disorganized impression. When calling the main number, you may need to try a few times to get an answer. Southfork is a really great facility, so do call back. It's worth it.”

“I wrote this on their Facebook page but I'll leave one on Google too!! I had an appointment for a haircut and brazillian wax! When I arrived at the location, due to the whole pandemic there were a lot of protocols but I honestly didn't mind. I actually really appreciate that they took all these precautions because it let me know they were very serious about this whole situation. The salon was super clean and the decor was honestly so beautiful! Marissa was such a wonderful hair dresser! This was my first ever professional haircut and I was nervous about it. She listened to my needs and was able to achieve my goal! I needed a haircut within military standards yet wanted it to still look cute! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did it with no problem! She made me feel super comfortable and welcomed! Also we talked about my dry scalp and recommended me some products that will help combat my dryness which I really needed because I have always struggled with dry scalp and didn't know what to do. I'm thankful she was able to help me! Megan was an amazing esthician! I got my first wax ever and it was a Brazillian! I told her I was nervous and she was able to help me focus on other things. She told me what to expect before doing anything and walked me through everything. She is very helpful and answered all my questions! She was super professional and I will never shave again! Before she started she told me if I felt uncomfortable or in too much pain, that I can let her know and she'd stop. Her hands were light and didn't even feel that much pain given my pain tolerance is quite low. Thanks Aeracura! my first ever experience at a salon and spa and this was a super positive experience!”

“Front desk manager, Melissa, was outstanding. She is a hard worker and cares to make everything acceptable and comfortable for the guests. She deserves a raise!! Seriously, they are lucky to have her. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are working on updating the rooms, so there’s lots of construction, rebuilding and replacing going on...so there’s not much else to say about the rooms themselves except that you have to be OK with the inconveniences of an old hotel in 90 degree weather in the middle of renovations.”

“I live directly behind the church, actually my backyard backs up to the graveyard. Back in the summer the 5 grandchildren we're visiting us & they wanted to to the playground at Crews Church. We were playing in the playground when a gentleman was walking from the church we were going to leave & I apologized for being on the church playground the gentleman introduced himself as the preacher and said we didn't need to leave play & enjoy yourself. That kind of reception has never been forgotten by me or my grandchildren. A real asset to the community.”
