“Great food, sports TV, great service are what you will find at Walk-ons. We had the double bacon cheeseburger and it was soooo good. We added on some fried pickles and they were tangy and thin, fried to perfection! We enjoyed this lunch! We were so full that we did not venture into the dessert menu this time, but they looked like shakes and more! Certainly would enjoy going here again! Enjoy!”

“Just experienced my first cut by Anointed Cutz today! This crew doesn't play around... you immediately feel like family even if it's your first time! I called 30 min BEFORE they were supposed to be open but the owner answered, set up an appointment and called me by name when I showed up 2 hours later!!! She hooked me up with Barber Omar and I can confidently say she has a new regular! If you are looking for a quality cut by good people this is the place!!!”

“Got a quote from Discount Tire for 5 tires for $1500.00 for a set of Mickey Thompsons. Tony at University Tire & Auto was able to beat their price by more then $350 for the exact same tires. I walked out only paying $1120 and a free NC inspection which I believe was worth $30. Awesome great job guys. I'll be back again and again and again! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great deals on repairs or new tires.”

“Before I decided to move to The Carillon I was very hesitant. Even though I knew some people here, the decision to make the transition still wasn’t easy. After meeting the very friendly and supportive staff I was beginning to feel better about. Since I’ve been here it’s been great. I’ve gotten involved in the activities offered, began getting involved in some special activities and helping out wherever and whenever I can. I’ve been made to feel welcomed and appreciated since I’ve been here. The staff is great!! The only things I would like here is a larger laundry room with a paper towel dispenser, some updated exercise equipment and a little more security. I would like to thank Nicole, Zoe, and all the front desk personnel that have been friendly and helpful since coming here. They are like family to me. Thanks also to the owners for having a facility that people can afford to Live in and enjoy. Anywhere you go there’ll always be issues but we can be there for each other and help get through them. Thanks again everyone.”

“It'd be easy to miss Imperial Koi. It's located on the backside of the building, above Melt, which is much more visible. I'm really glad to have found Imperial Koi as it sets itself apart in ambience from other Asian restaurants. I'm not attaching pictures, but check out the ones posted by other reviewers. The restaurant has a cool, elegant feel as soon as you step in. The second story affords lovely, open views. It's easy to wind down quickly here. In the restaurant or bar, atmosphere leads the experience dining at Imperial Koi. The food is consistently good. I'm anxious to try the special "after work" appetizer special from 5 to 9 Sundays thru Thursday. Check out the website for updates, but I believe you get 1 appetizer for $5, 3 for $12. Great for happy hour or light dinner. Up to now, I've saved this restaurant for more "special" occasions but that will be expanded now to more frequent end of work day visits. Cheers!”

“Both of my sons have gotten their braces from Dr. Brooks and we have been very pleased! My youngest son got his braces off today (Feb. 2021) and my oldest got his off back in June of 2020. Having experienced the the process of getting braces on/off, changing bands, breaking brackets, random questions along the way, and now retainers and caring for their beautiful straight teeth; I feel like I can give an accurate review of Dr. Brooks and his staff. We have been treated with the utmost care and each time we called his office, they were happy to help and never made us feel rushed! They ALWAYS made time for us (office visit or chat on the phone)! They are professional yet manage to give a family feel as well. My sons felt comfortable enough to ask Dr. Brooks their own questions (and to get teenagers to open up and discuss their health is saying something)! Brooks Orthodontics has been very affordable and easy to work with as well. He truly wants to make you happy and make your child have their best smile possible (and proper bite). It has been a joy to go to his office these past 2 1/2 + years and we will miss chatting with Dr. Brooks, his wife, and staff on a regular basis. If you or your child are in the market for braces, you will not be disappointed with Dr. Brooks. He loves what he does and it shows in his quality of work and care!”
