“We really enjoyed our meal at Carolina Bleu. We arrived after 6:30 on a Friday night and the manager apologized for the 15 minute wait, but we actually only waited ten minutes. Highly recommend the fried peppers app...deep fried jalapenos and banana peppers. For our meal my husband had the country fried pork loin, which he reports was outstanding. I had the chicken pasta with their Cajun Alfredo sauce. Also outstanding. Service was great. We will definitely be back.”

Only reason I stop at other place for hot chocolate is because they offer whip cream that you put on yourself. If Sheetz had this option it would be the only place I would stop at as comparing just the hot chocolate alone Sheetz is better.”

“Between us we had pulled pork, brisket, slaw, fried okra, and fried squash. All very good. The fried veggies were lightly seasoned and crisp, the brisket tender but not mushy. The pork was the star, with a nice smoke flavor by itself. Add one of their traditional NC vinegar sauces—coastal vinegar and pepper or Lexington tomato/vinegar—and it’s next level. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering my wife a sample of the slaw before she ordered it. After we had a chance to dig in a bit, the owner came over and chatted ‘cue with us a while—a topic of which I never tire. We’ve found a new top 5 BBQ spot, and will definitely be back!”

“You can tell this Mexican restaurant is not the same “run of the mill” place as soon as you open the menu. There were not the overwhelming amount of options, not saying they don’t have a lot to choose from, but not a menu filled with some 100 different combos. There are still quite a bit on the menu, but pared down than the typical Mexican restaurants in the area. The quality is very good and delicious.”
