  We brought our two kids here after relocating and attending another Montessori in western NY. We were a bit nervous at first considering it was smaller than our previous school but our kids took to it right away and established strong relationships with their teachers.
  
  Montessori, as some would say, is a way of life. If you're looking to put your kid(s) through a different kind of educational environment because you feel the popular method just isn't cutting it, you'll love Montessori and you'll love Anami.
  
  At Anami (like most Montessori schools), teachers don't teach to kids, they help them learn and enjoy learning. As a parent I can't ask for any more when it comes to my kids education. With the small size we found that the kids and teachers develop meaningful bonds and parents really get to know one another. Our kids love, love, love their friends and teachers and come home always excited to share what they've learned and look forward to going back. Most parents can't say that about public school environments.
  
  Most weeks, with Park Road Park around the corner, parents bring their kids after school and they get to play. It's a fun tradition and super convenient. And if you enjoy volunteering there's no shortage of activities to participate in, from reading to the kids, to gardening and organizing external activities.
  
  We've grown to love Anami, the teachers, the parents and the students.
  
  If you can find a way, you won't regret bringing your children into Anami's great environment.

  Without a doubt, the best approach to learning. My son is 6, and not only does he love school, but his reading, writing, and math abilities are several levels above his peers. And while I chose Anami Montessori for educational reasons, we received so much more. Creativity, self-confidence, joy in learning, excitement about challenges, self-sufficiency, and a true desire to advance in knowledge every day are just a few of the characteristics that the Montessori method instills. (TV/iPad are boring to my son, because they do not engage his mind like building, researching, and exploring do.) The teachers at Anami are amazing, and I never worry one single bit about my child's development - mentally and emotionally. The school makes being a mother absolutely delightful!

  I have three children at Anami and we've been really impressed with the school, the teachers and staff. Our kids love going to school, which was not the case when they were at CMS. Every day seems to be an adventure in learning for them and I've been amazed to see how far they have all come in just their first year at Anami. Anami Montessori is one of two AMI certified schools in North Carolina and it shows in the quality of their education practices. I'd recommend Anami Montessori to anyone!

  My son is a transfer student from another highly regarded Montessori school and Anami has completely blown us away with not just the quality of the AMI education but the absolute dedication, preparedness, and calm love exuding from teachers and staff alike. We feel very very fortunate to be a part of this special family. The teachers are in consistent contact with the parents and the school essentially has an "open door" policy with access to the Directors and Administrator. My son is glowing every day when he comes home and while he has always been polite (ahem), I have noticed his patience, articulation and thoughtfulness really expand. Today I was an observer in his class and was thrilled to have the chance to see the children at work in such a peaceful yet focused way. It actually gave me goosebumps to see most of them humming or softly singing as they attended to their respective task at hand. Where in the world at any school are you going to see a group of 3-5 year olds so resolutely focused on their work and yet so calm, so polite and so filled with joy that they not only are expressing it through song, but that they are in a safe environment that applauds that? We couldn't be happier and I have to say Anami was truly an answer to our prayers for our children.
