“This is my daughter's first year at PCS, and I am not sure why this school could ever receive any negative reviews. I have been involved with many schools - public and private - and I have never seen teachers so devoted to their children. My daughter learned more in the first week at PCS than she did in a whole year last year. The teacher to student ratio is VERY small - smaller than almost any other school in Charlotte, and I have seen more personal instruction than anywhere else. Also, as far as the teachers' pay goes - the teachers are very well taken care of. My daughter's teacher has been at PCS for more than 20 years, and it seems like if she wasn't happy she would have left a long time ago. Every parent I know who is involved with the school so appreciates the teachers that they make every effort to pamper them. Also, the small size of the school makes it feel like a family. I could go on and on about why I love PCS, and I give it two thumbs way up!”

“We brought our two kids here after relocating and attending another Montessori in western NY. We were a bit nervous at first considering it was smaller than our previous school but our kids took to it right away and established strong relationships with their teachers. Montessori, as some would say, is a way of life. If you're looking to put your kid(s) through a different kind of educational environment because you feel the popular method just isn't cutting it, you'll love Montessori and you'll love Anami. At Anami (like most Montessori schools), teachers don't teach to kids, they help them learn and enjoy learning. As a parent I can't ask for any more when it comes to my kids education. With the small size we found that the kids and teachers develop meaningful bonds and parents really get to know one another. Our kids love, love, love their friends and teachers and come home always excited to share what they've learned and look forward to going back. Most parents can't say that about public school environments. Most weeks, with Park Road Park around the corner, parents bring their kids after school and they get to play. It's a fun tradition and super convenient. And if you enjoy volunteering there's no shortage of activities to participate in, from reading to the kids, to gardening and organizing external activities. We've grown to love Anami, the teachers, the parents and the students. If you can find a way, you won't regret bringing your children into Anami's great environment.”

“Speaking as a former teacher and as a parent whose child is enrolled here: I love this school. You will not find a more caring or grace-filled school that honestly tries to make a difference in the lives of children from all walks of life. The facility has undergone some wonderful renovations as of late, and every classroom is bright, clean, and ready for learning. The staff are amazing and some of the most selfless people I have ever met. The education is exceptional in that the staff genuinely try to prepare these young people for the real world in all areas--intellectual as well as spiritual. They are always striving to implement the best strategies for both academics and discipline, and they are constantly seeking advice and wisdom from specialized professionals in these areas. I also LOVE that they are an inclusive school and work diligently to problem solve in areas such as structure and differentiated learning. In all honesty, there are no other schools out there like Charlotte United--every staff member puts in 110% without batting an eye or asking for accolades. They are always willing to sit down with you to work out disagreements or issues of any sort. You simply could not ask for more.”

“We LOVE Kids R Kids. We are so sad to be leaving (only leaving because we bought a new house and are moving out of the area). I have personally toured over 10 daycares in the area and no other centers compare. The staff are all so welcoming! Jen and Brandie at the front desk are amazing! They know all the kids by name, always greet us with a smile and are on top of everything that is going on in the center! Kim and Kristen are also amazing and so sweet. They truly care about every single child at that center and it shows! Kim has gone above any beyond for my family (even helping with the transition on finding a new daycare where we are moving to, to make sure my child gets proper care). My son and daughter both attended Kids R Kids. The teachers are all educated. My kids loved learning Spanish, Rocket Science, field trips, water play and each week they have a fun new topic to learn about! We will miss you guys! You will be so happy if you chose Kids R Kids for your children!”

“We absolutely LOVE Sardis Weekday School - the preschool with heart! The teachers and staff are amazing - they truly care for each child as if they were a member of their own family. The curriculum is fantastic and includes lessons in Spanish, science, storytelling, music and movement, etc. They use the Zoophonics curriculum to teach the alphabet (and beginning building lessons on it in the 2-year-old classroom) but there is also an emphasis on having fun and being a kid. And the other families there are wonderful – I am so grateful for the friendships both my children and I are making through the school.
