We recently had the pleasure of enjoying Craftboro's amazing Oktoberfest at The Bazaar in Carrboro and can't wait to do it all again real soon!
I've been coming here since I lived in Carborro about 2ish years ago. This is an amazing brewery. The vibe is perfect with the outdoor patio, open area atmosphere. It has a great outdoor patio area and there's almost always a food truck outside, so if you're ever wanting a chill atmosphere and a bite this is the place to be. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the folks that run the bar are always fast and efficient. The brewer is very good at what he does, he likes more of a traditional backbone of beers but always has a few more modern styles on tap as well. Regardless of what style you like, it's clear they are trying to make the most professional/highest quality of product, which is saying something compared to many other breweries whose products may be sacrificing quality to simply have popular beer types on the market. On another note, they also have some great non-beer alternatives for those who are more keen to that/they also have non-alcoholic options (right now it is homemade root beer). They have live music on weekends, and they have other events occasionally, including homebrew competitions, etc. if you like being involved in the brewing scene. I don't get to Craftboro often anymore as I live in Durham, but I love every time I come back. Definitely a big up and coming location in the triangle.
Wasn't there for very long, but I ordered their stargazer cider, and I was super pleased with it. The atmosphere was great, the only thing is we got there after the kitchen closed, so we didn't really get the full experience. Maybe next time! Appropriately sized for a party of four. If it wasn't raining, we definitely would've gone for the outdoor seating!
Great beer, nice outdoor ambiance, smiling service and cool jazz band on Our first visit this Saturday.
Such an incredible local watering hole. Great brews and kind staff.
