“Cool place with some fun history you can read about while hiking. Although I need to know what the Monarch of the Forest is. When I went there, I saw a house, that's it.”

“Dave called us shortly after we placed our order and told us they were out of it and expected it the following week. He offered us the option of receiving Bona Vida 1000 cream as a substitute. We accepted and my wife says it helps a lot with her shoulder. Really great customer service .”

“This is one of the best places for meat, particularly pork. It's always fresh, and there's good prices. Their beef is usually good, but some of it is coming from Mexico. Chicken is about the same as other places. Everyone has always extremely friendly and helpful, and I love that I can get in and get out without getting lost.”

“Great place to take a walk, bike, or jog with family, pets, friends. Plenty of things available to do for recreation. Have not e plored all the nature trails and paths but it's a fairly well kept area. We've been taking our older dogs there for their "workouts" (theirs and their hoomans). They love it and we've enjoyed just being outdoors. ?”

“That’s a little wild little natural park near Chapel Hill. I am happy to spend 30 min here before or after work to sort myself. The bench are plenty and the signs are clear. Well maintained but pretty wild and natural place. Love it. There is a river just 2 min away from parking lot, just cross the meadow. An overlook with nice view where you stand on rocks enjoying the river curving below. There is only very few traffic, if you don’t want to see people but only mother nature, that’s the place to go. Note: there are wild trails at the turning point of the loop without official safety guarantee but pretty fun to explore.”

“We've camped in 4 of the 5 available campsites at Fanny's Ford Campground over the last couple of years. With a short mile hike from the parking, this is a great place for a quick overnight or get-a-way that offers some beautiful scenery and great local hiking. Each primitive campsite has a tent pad and a separate fire pit pad that includes a bench and a fire ring with grate. There is a hanging pole located at each site. The attached map shows the correct location for the pit toilet (red outline is the new/correct location), which approx. 15 yards from site 1. There is a wood bin near the pit toilet and the park typically leaves a small bundle of wood for each site, which is really nice when there is cooler weather. If you have the choice, I recommend staying in sites 2, 4 or 5. These offer the best separation from the other campsites. Campsites 1 and 3 are too close together IMO; however, would be good options if you had a small group wanting to camp together using both sites. Reservations can be made online via the Eno River State Park site making it easy to check availability and which site you want. Highly recommended for some great local camping.”
