River Park at Cooleemee Falls “ The BullHole”

Have loved this place for 32 yrs. But they really should put up signs. If your not local an know what the heck your doing. Then make sure ur kids can swim.. I'm tried of bring the life guard.

Cool place to spend the day! Put the kids in life jackets!! Wear socks to help keep from sliding on the rocks! Rough path, but we made it with a stroller. Bring rafts to ride the rapids, but be careful, under currents are dangerous for small kids and non swimmers! Awesome Sandy spot to play in. Bring a trash bag(there is one trashcan)!! Don't leave your trash!!!

Nice cool day for an adventure! The bathrooms by the parking lot were clean and stocked! The paths through out the grounds were pretty. The leaves had already started changing. You could hear the falls as soon as you started out. The big rocks were beautiful. Overall fun experience!

Fun place to swim for free, wish the bathrooms were a bit closer to the water, but overall a nice place to spend the day with family. My kids enjoy the mini rapids when the waters are flowing well. No lifeguards on duty tho so be careful.. I've seen many people underestimate the water and have very close calls.
