“We have been passing this pace for years, and today we finally decided to try them. It's small but clean. The menu is straightforward, prices are good. The food is very good. We had flounder, shrimp, fried zucchini, baked beans, baked potato, and french fries at our table and everything was good. The lady who took our order and served us was friendly and efficient. Nothing was messed up in the order and the service was quick. Only thing I can say is that the drive up window area needs to be cleaned. The walls, windowsill and windows all could use a good cleaning. As we sit in this area and wait we have nothing to do but look around and it doesn't present a clean appearance.”

“Always the best! I'm 47 years old and this place has been in business ever since I can remember. Their chicken is top notch, and I'd put it up against granny's home fried chicken anytime. Nothing beats home cooking, but Hathaway's sure can compete! The gizzards are melt in your mouth tender which is exceedingly rare for a restaurant to serve them that way. Most just fry them up and give them to you tough as nails. The livers are fried to perfection, tender and juicy, not hard and overcooked. If I had one small complaint, it would be the sweet tea. That stuff is almost syrup! I definitely recommend lightening up on the sugar, guys. Overall though, 5 stars and well deserved.”

“We purchased 4 Arby's roast beef and Cheddar's and we only received one pack of horsey sauce and one pack of Arby's sauce even after we requested extra. also when we got to the window we asked if there was extra sauce in there and the young woman promptly said yes and close the window as if she didn't want to speak to us or answer any other questions. I believe that your staff could be a bit more friendly when it comes to the drive-thru because this isn't the first time that the same young woman has been very rude and short with us.”

“Monroe NC has a great BK! I have numerous years of customer service experience and I was totally in awe of this establishment. The entire staff is excellent. The GM was very friendly and engaged with his team and all the guests. They were very clean in comparison to competing fast food spots as well. Bathrooms were fresh and stocked, team members were pleasant, and my King's Meal Deal was hot and fresh! It was lunchtime on a Monday and quite busy, but service was flowing smoothly and I received the kind of service I expect, EXCELLENCE! Well done Burger King of Monroe, NC. I appreciate all you do. Definitely a new go-to on the regular. Did I say "Yummy"!”
