“Always the best! I'm 47 years old and this place has been in business ever since I can remember. Their chicken is top notch, and I'd put it up against granny's home fried chicken anytime. Nothing beats home cooking, but Hathaway's sure can compete! The gizzards are melt in your mouth tender which is exceedingly rare for a restaurant to serve them that way. Most just fry them up and give them to you tough as nails. The livers are fried to perfection, tender and juicy, not hard and overcooked. If I had one small complaint, it would be the sweet tea. That stuff is almost syrup! I definitely recommend lightening up on the sugar, guys. Overall though, 5 stars and well deserved.”

“Excellent down home BBQ but sub par service. Have been here 3 times and every time the staff doesn't seem to care all that much. The food comes out quickly and tastes great to boot. Prices are a little cheaper then competitors in the area (which are already much cheaper than chain BBQ restaurants) and their specials give you a way to try something different every time you stop in. Will continue to come back due to the food and pricing.”

“We purchased 4 Arby's roast beef and Cheddar's and we only received one pack of horsey sauce and one pack of Arby's sauce even after we requested extra. also when we got to the window we asked if there was extra sauce in there and the young woman promptly said yes and close the window as if she didn't want to speak to us or answer any other questions. I believe that your staff could be a bit more friendly when it comes to the drive-thru because this isn't the first time that the same young woman has been very rude and short with us.”

The GM was very friendly and engaged with his team and all the guests. They were very clean in comparison to competing fast food spots as well. Bathrooms were fresh and stocked, team members were pleasant, and my King's Meal Deal was hot and fresh! It was lunchtime on a Monday and quite busy, but service was flowing smoothly and I received the kind of service I expect, EXCELLENCE! Well done Burger King of Monroe, NC. I appreciate all you do. “Drove by this place a dozen times and never tried it. I should have stopped before. We both had the burger today and it was absolutely awesome! The homemade onion rings were a perfect accompaniment to the giant 8 oz burgers. Server was warm, friendly, and attentive. Owner was genuine and friendly. “This location's early morning service is the best that I've experienced in the area. My daughter works at another fast food place close to this location. She closes on weekends & I pick her up between 3:30-4:30am depending on how busy they were. We normally stop by this location to grab some food. The crew is friendly and they hustle to get the food out in a timely manner. There are 2 locations in Indian Trail close to my house, one at Sun Valley & one near Walmart. Both of those don't come close to providing the late night/early morning service that this location offers.”
