He is very caring and patient and gives his patients all of his attention and time. You do not feel rushed or dismissed. He listens! It is very hard to find a physician, much less someone in mental health, that gives you as much. He is worth the wait because you can be assured that he will give you the same level of care that he is giving the patient before you.
We love the attention and the thoroughness of his care. Dr. Velosa is knowledgeable, listens, and genuinely cares about his patients. You must understand that his appointments may run long so yours might not start on time. But, you'll be thankful when you're the one that needs more time - you'll appreciate the fact that he doesn't clock watch. Simply put, Dr. Velosa takes care of you.
Very pleased with Dr. Velosa's treatment for our teenage daughter. He takes his time, is very thorough with questions. After seeing some other pediatric psychiatrists in the area we are very happy to have found Dr. Velosa. He does run late alot which is frustrating however the trade-off is that he spends quality time with my daughter and us and he knows his stuff. Highly recommend.
One of the greatest psychiatrists I've ever met. He's done wonders for both my girls. It's extremely hard to find a pediatric psychiatrist that takes cigna insurance. North raleigh psychiatry does and they're great! Their missed appointment fee is a little steep but it's a great practice and their time is valuable.
