I was grumbling about the withdrawal/deposit requirements - one has to provide two forms of ID, fill out a paper slip, etc. The women working were sympathetic to my complaining and offered to escalate on my behalf. The archaic policies clearly aren't their doing, and I thought it was nice that they were sympathetic vs many folks in client facing roles who would have given me a 'these are the rules, if you don't like them, tough' kind of response.”

“Dr McElveen repaired my eardrum back when I was in middle school, back in the '90s. I'd been to one doc who terrified me after vaccuuming a polyp out of my ear canal, causing some blood. As a 10- or 11-year-old kid, I was worried that Dr M would be the same, but I quickly realized why he had received at least one award. He placed a couple of utensils in my ear, including the same type of mini-vaccum the first doc had used, to inspect the situation, and I felt no pain whatsoever. He later rebuilt my thinned eardrum successfully, and to this day I have good hearing with no problems following the surgery. I believe Dr. McElveen truly is one of the best ENTs out there.”

“I stopped by to check out their Christmas decor (because I like unique finds that not everyone else has) and saw how beautifully decorated their trees were. The woman working let me know that if I buy ribbon, the owner would create a beautiful bow out of it. So, I went back the next day and Keith (the owner) was fantastic! He helped me pick out ribbon based on the vision I had for my tree, and then he made magic happen. Did I also buy several ornaments while he made the bow - yes! But well worth it.
