Staff is helpful and professional, variaty of amenities available and the app is cool. This is my home and I would recommend it to anyone! Thanks planet fitness!...proud to be a member.
(August 12, 2022, 6:47 pm)First visit today. I signed up online and entered my email wrong (ouch!) but the front desk was easily able to help figure that out for me. Yay!
I am not a gym'y kind of guy (my rounded shape will attest to that). I find the whole idea of working out a little intimidating. What I found at Planet Fitness today is a spacious, super duper clean facility with lots of equipment. I jumped onto an elliptical and got started burning those calories. Then, I jumped over to some of the weight machines. No clue what I am doing but there's some videos and illustrations. That helped.
Finally, the locker room area. Again, spacious. Clean. I took a quick rinse-off shower which was nice before running errands. Plenty of lockers.
Alright, what would I change? Just one guy getting started but I have no freakin' clue where to start. It would be nice to have a little more guidance for newbies (focus on cardio? strength? which machines? how long?) and maybe possibly have a new-person tour or orientation (I purchased the black card but not really sure how that works for the massage area and stuff - I will have to ask if they're less busy at the front desk next time).
All in all, a good experience. I love the mix of normal people with those who are already more on their healthy side!
(July 3, 2022, 9:35 pm)The gym, bathrooms & locker room is very clean. There is an abundance of equipment including multiples of the same so you never have to wait for a specific piece of equipment. The staff is on top of filling the cleaning stations as well as vacuuming the floor. Rarely a piece of equipment is out of order & if it is it’s repaired quickly.
(March 21, 2022, 10:27 am)Planet Fitness (PF), provides a great atmosphere and offers all the bells and whistles for a full body workout; more than enough equipment that doesn't require waiting on others to complete use; and if by chance any equipment I'm needing is occupied, equipment options are provided within the same muscle group that allows one to continue until such equipment becomes available. Very nice gym and I'm glad I gave PF a try on my path back to healthy physical fitness.
