Most other doctors try to run out the door and end the appointment before you have even had a chance to speak. Dr. Belcea does NOT have the big doctor ego, which seems all too common in most doctors. He also is open to alternative treatments. It gives me peace of mind that my membership gives me his cell number in case of an emergency. At first, I wasn't sure whether I'd want to spend the money to be a concierge member, but my membership has been well worth it. The membership gives me more time with Dr. Belcea, and I never feel rushed there. Dr. Belcea has helped me work through some complex health problems, and I am so thankful for him and for his wonderful staff. I also love that the office is very family friendly, and everyone is always so sweet to my kids. (And, in response to the reviewers who are negative about the concierge model: I think those reviews are unfair. This is not a practice for "elite" people. Our medical system is messed up, and the concierge model has allowed Dr. Belcea to practice medicine the way it should be practiced.)”

“I have had a hard time finding a good dentist. I had the same dentist for the first 30 years of my life until he retired. I never had any phobias until I had to find a new one. I went through 3 before I finally found Southern Dental Arts. I had almost given up hope of finding anyone. I had horrible experiences with gums bleeding after cleaning, an instrument breaking off inside a tooth they were putting a crown on that I had to see an oral surgeon to have removed, and very sore gums after each visit. I went for a year not seeing anyone because it tore my nerves up to go. Then one weekend I had a horrible toothache. Dr. Staehling took me on a Saturday and was able to fix it. I have been going ever since. He is always checking to make sure I'm okay and completely gets how anxious I am about going to the dentist. He always tells me to raise my finger if I need a break and is so patient and kind. My phobia is almost complete gone now thanks to him.”
