Dr. Pate and his staff patiently explained the surgical procedure and before and after requirements to reattach my retina. The procedure went well with consultation ongoing with the anesthesiologist who also had to consider my breathing assist machine. Great teamwork, fantastic leadership, and compassionate care.

Dr. Pate did an emergency laser repair of bilateral retinal tears. I have had excellent results. His demeanor is as good as his surgery skill. When he is examining my eyes I sense that he is focused carefully, without rushing, on my issue while seeing not only the case and its requirements but also seeing ME the person and my needs.

Dr. Pate is fantastic. He answers any questions honestly and takes the time to listen. Did a great job on two different surgeries I had. Would recommend him to anyone.
