After years of struggling with weight gain, fatigue, chronic pain, and being ignored by nearly every doctor, Dr. VanPala came highly recommended to me from my mom. I was skeptical at first, however, I quickly understood why he came so highly praised. Dr. VanPala truly cares about his patients and you can tell that he loves what he does! He was the first doctor in my life to really listen to me and validate all of my concerns! He would take what I had to say into account and never makes you feel stupid. He talks to you like are his equal and fully explains everything to you. I was diagnosed with something that I had suspected for years, and had I not seen Dr. VanPala, I do not not know what my life would look like now! He truly makes me feel cared for!

I also see Henry Matthew, and he is just as amazing as Dr. VanPala! He is very easy to talk to, very understanding, and devotes the same amount of care to his patients. He really listens to what I have to say and validates any concerns I bring up. I never feel awkward or dread going into the office when Dr. VanPala and Henry Matthew are my healthcare providers!

I also appreciate that if I have an emergency, that they are always so helpful and really do try to help me in whatever way they can. I cannot stop recommending North Hills Internal and Integrative Medicine enough to my friends, family members, and colleagues. Dr. VanPala and Henry Matthew have renewed my faith in healthcare providers!

I've been seeing Dr. Henry Matthew for a few years now and he is the absolute best. I have never had a doctor seem to really care about me as a patient and as a person. He always listens to everything I have to say, talks through his proposed treatment plan (and why he thinks it's best to try) and will work with me until we figure out a solution. Not only that, but he takes into account how I feel about the treatment plan - whether I prefer no medication, a certain type of medication, etc. I'm so thankful to have found a PCP that truly cares about me and my health!
