“I have dealt with “treatment resistant” depression for 43 years and have lots of difficulties with side effects of medications. My previous psychiatrist prescribed a medication that worked long enough for me to become physically “addicted” to it…. Then caused horrible side effects…….then caused severe anxiety and depression. when I cried and begged for help, that Psychiatrst referred me to a neurologist and fired me from his practice. I can’t explain how desperate I was for help. The neurology was able to start another medication to ease the side effects and to help me begin the painful process of weaning the original medication. Even though DrWeisler was not accepting new patients at the time, he listened to my story and agreed to help me. He literally saved my life. He is brilliant, knows his neuropsychiatry, knows his drugs and their mechanisms of action AND has a good bedside manner. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have him working with me against Depression.”
