Allen's Transmission Service

I was sent to Allen's by my car mechanic when they thought my car had transmission issues. I called them expecting to just schedule an appointment, but was pleasantly surprised by the owner's kind and helpful attitude. Rick (the owner) had his mechanic Barry pick up my car from my repair shop (in Durham), drive me back to my house, and then tow my car all the way to their shop in Raleigh.

I was called the next day by Rick saying that they didn't find anything wrong with my transmission, but that Barry would tow my car back to Durham for me. All of this was done FREE OF CHARGE. For a poor grad student, these guys were much needed. They are honest, helpful, extremely professional and kind. All of this showed me they would never be dishonest and that they treat everyone fairly. I highly recommend this business! You won't be disappointed.

The mechanics/technicians and owner of Allens Transmission are the best! They will diagnose your transmission problems quickly and make the needed repairs on time. If you need help getting your vehicle to the shop your tow will be included free with your major repair. Look no further for your transmission work! These guys are the best!

I took my Honda Pilot in for a transmission rebuild. Honda gave me a price of $6500 for a new transmission. Other places quoted $3200 to put in a used transmission. I took it to Allen's for a rebuild at considerable savings, and I got the Pilot back in three days complete. Excellent service and communication.

Allen's transmission explains every detail of the repair to you so you understand what is going on. They provide you with several options and let you decide while answering every question honestly.
