“A&C Supermarket is indeed an Oriental store of super proportions, what with a grocer, Chinese restaurant and bakery coexisting in one vast space. Located just south of central Raleigh, this proper Chinese grocer is replete with an excellent selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables and live seafood—including soft-shelled turtle. Aisles are clean, well-organized, capacious and easily navigable. Service at this Chinese supermarket is surly at worst and aloofly civil at best, which is typical of Chinese-run establishments of this caliber.”

“Love to get this place for take out and dine in sometimes. I am vegan so they are able to do the Dan Dan noodles without pork and fried rice with no egg! Both really good, though the Dan Dan noodles were better for dine in. When I get them to go they have a bit too much black vinegar. I still enjoy them though. The green beans are really good as are the spring rolls. The vegetable dumplings were just okay, not as much flavor. Either way, I recommend this place!”

“My in-laws have lived at Mills Farm for 6 weeks now. So far, it has been fabulous. The staff is great at remembering the residents' names which made a big difference for my MIL who has dementia. She felt at home after just a week! The residents are delightful and go out of their ways to introduce themselves. The food is fantastic and the facilities, beautiful. They even have a pharmacy and salon in-house so there is no reason for my in-laws to leave the property (although they can and they do.) The overall atmosphere is low key which I like. Costco and Harris Teeter are just down a small road. Honestly, there isn't much more we could ask for. I am thrilled we made the decision to move them there.”

I work with Dawn in one-on-one sessions and also attend her weekly Boot Camps. Dawn has a very motivating coaching style— I know I wouldn’t challenge myself the way she challenges me! Both my personal training sessions and group Boot Camp workouts are safe and effective, while also being challenging and fun. Even though the Boot Camps include a variety of people with different fitness backgrounds, Dawn provides modifications for people who may have injuries or are beginner exercisers while also challenging veteran exercisers. Although I love Dawn and her workouts, my favorite thing about Body by Dawn is the community. As a personal trainer struggling with my workouts, I came to Body by Dawn in a vulnerable place. I was immediately welcomed to Boot Camp by both Dawn and the members. Dawn has truly created a positive environment where everyone supports each other, which makes Body by Dawn my favorite place to workout!”
