“We were planning to replace all of our carpet in our house, but have not had a very good experience with Lowes/Legacy so far. While we still hope to replace the carpet someday, we wanted to fix the few chewed spots on our stairs from when our dogs were puppies and spots where our carpet receded at the threshold in our master bedroom. We cleared the game (linen) closet upstairs and Mr. Wooden cut carpet from the back of that to fix/match. He brought similar scrap rolls of carpet to replace the spot in the back of the closet that he cut/used for the repairs. He couldn't stretch the carpet like we thought in the Master Bedroom because we are on a concrete slab so nothing to grip to, but that's ok. He did wonderful work in less than 30 minutes. Price was very fair! Best $200 spent and $50 of that was because he drove 60+ miles to us in Wayne County. Called on a Friday and he called back that afternoon to schedule for that Sunday morning. Very pleased and would definitely use again if we have any future carpet repairs! Thanks Mr. Wooten!”

“Update: over the years, my wife has had more positive moments here. We only purchased other products (other than furniture) and have been overall satisfied. Old review: I've given this place a try a few times. Nothing is really worth it. When we did buy furniture there, even at 50% off their normal prices (still pretty high) and then came to find out the drawers in the dresser didn't really work right after about a week. When we tried to donate there, none of our stuff was "good enough" (surprising considering the junk they sell). Then we started going to Snapdragon and down to Angier for their thrift shops. We won't be going back to Guardian Angel, there are too many other better thrift stores, not to mention yard sales and craigslist.”
