“First measurable snow of the season for Durham County. To celebrate we choose to go to Texas Steakhouse and Saloon for dinner. We decided to have the 2 for $29 meal deal. The Salmon with the macaroni and cheese and asparagus was fresh, hot and delicious. The server genuinely apologized for the wait. The service was a bit slower impacted by the weather event; however, the customer service was pleasant and courteous.”

“I don’t normally review gas stations. Mostly they’re all the same. But this gas station here is my local go-to and has been for some time. The staff is usually attentive and friendly but today I was pretty astonished by a small act of kindness. In hindsight I wish I would have gotten her name, but today I stopped in to buy a couple packs of cigarettes, smoked one before leaving the parking lot and set the rest of my full pack on the windowsill. It wasn’t until a couple hours later I realized what I had done, and I swung by on a whim hoping they would still be there. I pulled up and to my dismay, they were not longer sitting outside, but I went inside to ask the cashier if anyone had turned them in. She turned around to where her personal belongings were put away behind the counter with a smile and pulled out a pack of Newport 100’s. It may seem like a small thing, but it wasn’t her job to set them aside in a safe place for the remainder of her shift to see if anyone would claim them. It really made my day. From the outside looking in you might think there isn’t anything special about this gas station, but I would have to argue that you’re mistaken. Most of the staff with a few exceptions make coming there for whatever you need; gas, a coffee, tobacco, a pleasure. I’m really happy to be in a neighborhood with such kind and thoughtful people. If you ever need anything and you’re out near NCSU don’t hesitate to stop in.”

Great product selection and prices are very reasonable across the brands. Helpful staff with knowledgeable insight from sizing clubs to bikes. Ammunition selection has been fairly consistent and while prices are a tad high they are on par with other retailers. Firearm selection and prices are also good. They have a great selection of accessories to include cases, scopes, sights, holsters, safes and more. Shoe and boot area is great and the selection is great. Staff there is knowledgeable about sizing and use. They have become my go to for all my causal, athletic and training footwear.”

“We were the market for single family home with a lot of criteria, because this would be our first home purchase. We contacted Paul in 2019 and started with the search.Quickly by sending us some listing and going through our thoughts about the listing, he understood exactly what we were looking for. Months after months, scheduling houses after houses, we were not able to find something that we loved. Paul gave us some idea to look at areas that we didn't initially had in mind to explore more inventory, but he was not pushy and respected our decision and was very patiently working with us. As a first time home buyer, I was not very aware of certain nuances that one should looks for which might be troublesome later while selling. Paul was there during our viewing to point to those that we overlooked. Given how quickly a house gets sold in Cary/Apex/Morrisville area, if i see some house listed newly, I sent Paul messages to schedule a viewing and he always scheduled something quickly for us. Finally, after months of search, we were able to find a house that matched all our criteria in a location we desired for way below the budget we set. He helped us to submit the offer, helped negotiating with the sellers and was helping us all the way through closing. Even after 6 months since closing, he is still helping us with making some decisions on value adds we are doing to the house. It was great experience working with Paul through out.”
