“Just wanted to recommend a local pet cremation place - as we had no idea where to start when we lost our family dog of 14 1/2 years this past Saturday (our local vet wasn't open nor were some others I had called). I called Laps of Love which directed me to an expensive place near the airport. On a whim, I reached out to Hartsell on 49, and they were absolutely incredible. Miller came and picked her up and was kind, compassionate, gentle and patient with us as we said our final goodbyes. They were reasonably priced and immediately made you feel like family. It's in times like these that you want to work with a staff and place like this. Just thought I'd share for others that may end up in this sad situation. “My Mother passed away in May 2017. Having the ability to work with Sam James and his staff for both the funeral and burial was such a blessing. I recently took family to Northlake Memorial Garden to show them moma's grave. Immediately before pulling in the drive they stated how beautiful everything was. My mom is buried in the front after visiting her grave. We drove around to different areas of the gardens to see the well manicured landscape. One family member walked around some of the different areas. Their comment was "I wish our local community burial gardens looked like this. I think we should bring them here to see how to do it." Once again I felt a peace for the choice that was made to bury here. Along with the comments from family and friends the day of her funeral.”
