I extended my stay 3 more days for some much needed R&R. Sharon & Phil are terrific hosts and very accommodating meeting me even when my flight arrived very late. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you need for your stay. Sharon stocks local artisan treats and is super thoughtful. My favorite place to stop when traveling through NC.”

“My best friend got married here. The venue cost for all weekend was comparable to one day at most other places. The property is beautiful and the cottage is wonderful and quaint. There is a food service building by the lake for a great lakeside wedding feast. All I know is it I get married in a ceremony I will most likely use this place. 10 out of 10 for sure.”
