“We had our first visit with Dr Amanda C. It was a lovely first experience. I read the reviews for this office, some no stars or one star, and assumed they were off a little. I was right. I highly recommend this office. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. The doctor had the ability to immediately make myself and my 10&12 year old daughters feel at ease. It can be hard to find the right fit for your family, but I'm confident we found our forever Doctor. The office staff and nurse were both friendly and welcoming. Going forward, I think this is an office that will give quality care and the necessary referrals for any issues that may arise. Thank you for a great first visit!”

“I'll start by saying, if I have the option I'll never stay with a different hotel again. The front desk staff were awesome, kind, courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. The cleaning staff were awesome, too. They were friendly and happy... which is sadly often rare. The entire hotel was ridiculously clean. AND! The room had a stove! I never knew! All in all, I had a great experience and I will definitely visit again. A huge thank you to all the staff members who made me feel at home.”

“We visited in mid September. We had a suite, brought 3 kids and the dog. The suite had a queen bed, pull out couch, small kitchenette and a separate bedroom with another queen bed and the bathroom. Breakfast is a 10/10, the beach was not crowed in the least. The pet free play area was great for our dog who isn't used to going to the bathroom on leash. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I gave the room 4 stars because our remote didn't operate the TV, only the cable box (so volume, on/off had to be manual) and I wished there was a broom/dustpan in room for sand clean up. I bought one at the Dollar Tree and left it in the closet. We bought food and used the kitchenette instead of eating out, however there is no cookware. Again, nothing that can't be brought/bought at dollar store. Pets aren't allowed on the beach from memorial day to labor day, heads up. We watched dolphins play every day, it's 20 minutes to VA beach/tourist stuff. Absolutely awesome, highly recommended and we hope to be back!!”

“I booked the Governor’s Inn “The Sandhills” for my team of 12 for an overnight meeting. IT WAS EXCELLENT! The meeting room table was perfect as it provided a large but intimate space for our group to engage in healthy and open discussions. After the meeting, the space upstairs was perfect for our group to cook and have a wonderful dinner. The rooms were awesome. Beds were great and having a temperature control for every room was a first. Each room was able to tailor the room temp to their liking. All in all, it was a perfect setting for our group of 12 offering a more inviting space that you just don’t get at a hotel. The views of the golf course off the back porch are beautiful, relaxing and tranquil. There was also a walking trail of the stunning grounds. Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with. I definitely see our group staying here again and again.”

“I absolutely love this donut shop! I moved out to this area a couple months ago and found them! My younger brothers favorite thing was getting donuts for my family so I wanted to keep the tradition going. The donuts are so so fresh and every flavor they have is so freaking fantastic. I know my brother would approve. The lady who works there already knows me now and I feel bad I don't know her name but she is great! Love coming in and seeing her! “Beautiful quaint country venue, the property is adequately sized for small to medium events and is spacious yet snug. The property was nicely maintained, although I feel like the smaller structures like the gazebo could benefit from some light pressure washing, or at least a jet-spray hosing off. There are only two single room restrooms accessible for the outside areas of the venue, so lines can form quickly, but they are very modern and spacious inside. There is a small firepit area that is set off to the left side of the venue that was perfect for a chilly autumn evening, although the wood pile could be placed better as it was not immediately obvious if there was more wood provided. Overall the location provided a beautiful backdrop for the event, and I preferred it greatly to a different larger outdoor venue in Chapel Hill that I attended a few years ago.”

“David Massey and Massey real estate are by far the best, we called before we even were ready to list and asked what we should do to get our house ready to sell. David came out for free and walked through the house with us. He told us everything we could do to make get the house market ready without any expectation of being the listing agent. When we were ready to sell we called him again and he came right out, we asked him to sell our house for us and he went above and beyond. Our house wasn't even on the market a day and a half before we had an offer and We closed within 30 days. David was there every step of the way.
