“Great summer camp loved by generations of girls scouts. The programs are fun and the girls have looked forward to returning year after year. There are day camps and events throughout the year. Girls need to become a member of Girl Scouts (easy online sign-up) to attend the day or overnight camps but do not need to be a member of a troop. “Room was roomy, plenty of space. Nice, large updated furniture for storage. Restroom needed a good cleaning, (I’m picky.) Updated, with storage space, and an extender in the shower made this small restroom space functionable. Plenty of parking, newly painted parking spaces. Convenient, right off the highway. The pool and area is clean, landscape is well kept. Staff and front desk are nice, friendly and helpful.”

“We had a very nice stay at Staybridge Suites in Fort Wayne. The front desk staff, cleaning staff, and staff at the breakfast bar we're all very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and updated. Breakfast has a lot of great choices including healthy ones. It would be nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for your towels. Also in our suite there were handles on the inside of the bedroom double doors but not on the outside which made it hard/awkward trying to shut the double doors when others were still sleeping.”

“We rented a large cabin and the place was great. Just be aware that the cabins are 1 room so there where 5 bunk beds and a single bed in an open area. They are doing some construction in the park but the noise was limited to earlier daytime. Very quite park. I believe all the sites have lake access. As well as drinking water. Keep In mind that it's about 50yrd to the water so a heavy kayak will be tough but a boat ramp is also in the park. One of the nicest I've seen. 3 ramps total and I had to leave 3 nice kayaks with motor and batteries and fishing gear there for several hours as we were packing up to leave and a storm popped up. To my surprise everything was still there. One of the hidden gems. It's very affordable fun for the whole family. Or could be a Romantic getaway for the parents. Locals tell me they are gonna start allowing private docks on the lake and if so this treasure will be gone. So go soon. Oh and the store and grill at the end of the road is good. They have a little outdoor shop connected to it as well and if you need tackle or anything and that is closed they will open and allow u to go in. Nice people running the park. We had to upgrade from a small to a large cabin and they handled that perfectly. Also my water pump went out on my truck so had to replace that at the cabin and took a little while extra but I called the ranger and since there was nobody behind us they allowed us to use the cabin while I fixed my truck since it started storming. They could've easily charged us another day but did not. So if your on the fence about this one book it.”

“Me and my husband just spent three nights at this location. And it was absolutely amazing, we're looking for a getaway for our 4 year anniversary. This place exceeded all of our expectations, and it doesn't hurt that it's absolutely breathtaking. We were given more privacy than we needed. but yet anything that you needed they were right there if you needed help with anything. All the amenities were amazing from the bar in the game room to the pool and of course the beautiful lake. The bedrooms were big and more than what we expected. And everything was very clean. We were looking forward to this experience and we are so happy that we did it. We would recommend this to any of our friends or family. It's so much better than a hotel. And hands down we will be visiting again.I want to say thank you to Mark and Kathy for being excellent host and for sharing your beautiful home with us. You helped us create an anniversary that we will not forget.”

“100% recommend! I am relocating out of state and had checked into an Airbnb house for my last two weeks in Raleigh. Unfortunately, the house was unsuitable (unsafe and not at all clean) and I needed to come up with a plan B in a hurry. WaterWalk to the rescue. So glad I found this place. STAFF All have been super friendly and welcoming. SOUND Very quiet! No road noise or from the hallway/neighbors. PETS Super appreciate them being dog-friendly for a reasonable fee compared to many hotels. Dedicated dog potty area and plenty of tree-lined and well-lit sidewalks. OTHER - Very clean. Comfortable furniture. Nice kitchen tools (pots, pans, dishes, etc) - Near tons of great food options (Indian within walking distance, yum). - Feels super safe - Washer and dryer IN THE ROOM ”

“The 2 beds room was really small. Nice and clean but not much room to get around. The bathroom was large. About as big as the room. We had to get our door cards redone often and that was a pain being on the 7th floor going up and down on the slow elevator. The hotel was booked solid and we were there for a large wedding so it was a bit of in convenience with these small details and pouring down rain all day and night.”

“I grew up in this neighborhood. It was a great place to live. Mrs. M. Martin has been there 45+ years and babysat me as a child. The residents have changed but the historic trailer park is over seen buy Mrs Martin and many of her relatives reside or visit and keep a good eye on everything. M.R.T.P. Everything is gossip so create a good persona. Dogs. Motorcycles, ATV'S WERE always prohibited. Making it a boring place ( for me) growing up. Lots of chicano's and Hispanics. As it used to be predominantly white community.”

“We stayed at this hotel for three nights on our girls trip. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Jim took great pride in taking care of them. Jim would sit and talk to us as though we were old friends. We also had a super nice evening desk clerk named Sandra. These two people made our trip worthwhile. They were both down to earth people. Sometimes when I go into motels the staff is horrible.( I have been to plenty being a travel nurse). All hotel staff should take lessons from these two on how to treat guests. Just because we are guests doesn’t mean we don’t like conversations or kind words. They really made our days brighter. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here. The only thing we didn’t care for was the little pillows that were not good for the neck when sleeping. And the bedspreads were two different colors. Other than that no problems.”

“This review is for Cane Creek Campground in Snow Camp, NC. We were there in the spring of 2021. We found the campground to be rustic, relaxing and peaceful, just what we were looking for. A great getaway from the business of life. The owners were pleasant and accommodating. We had a full hook-up site, so it was not a problem for us that there were pit toilets and primitive shower houses. We had a great view of the fishing pond. While in the area, we visited Saxapahaw Island Park (20 minutes away), which has access to Haw River and a nice play area for kids.”

“I got a room by airline voucher. The place and people are fine. I was freightened by negative reviews. But the shuttle (waited about 15-20 min) is very clean and looks new, and the rooms are pretty clean. This is not 4 star hotel but it’s okay as other days inns. The hall way smells a bit but no smell in the room. Iced drinkable water is in the lobby with cups. There are certain time schedules for shuttles. The front desk man explained well.”

“Affordable housing options. Roads are well maintained. Overall a fairly tame and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance from New Market Elementary School. Nelson Mobile Home Park shares a close proximity to the Sophia Community Center. Midway gas station/ convenience is less than a mile away. Coggins Field [a local baseball field and sports park] is also very close by. Randleman Walmart is roughly a five minute drive away.”

“We could only stop in for a short time before closing but we got a quick tour and I was really impressed! Things are very well organized and easy to find, I liked the regional maps on the wall, and the tasting area seemed comfortable and welcoming. There's a huge variety of wines and beers - and they even had a variety of sake! - and the self-serve setup is very neat. Additionally, Bill is very nice and knowledgeable, and he was patient with us as he explained all about Cellar 55. We picked up some wine and a couple of bottles of beer while we were there, and we're looking forward to coming back both as regulars and to attend special events!”

“Clean room! I felt comfortable staying here with my family of 5, including my 1 year old daughter. Water was hot and bathroom was clean. Front desk staff were all very nice. They even gave us complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste when we asked. No noise or smell of smoke at night. Reasonably priced. I was very happy with my entire weekend stay.”
