“Good experience during my 3 night stay at this hotel. Rooms were newly renovated and very clean. Hotel is near tons of retail and food options. Deducted one star only because my key kept deactivating despite not having it near my phone as advised. That was a bit frustrating but the staff was very accommodating and helpful each time it happened which was about once per day.”

“Karen is lovely. She is very sweet and enthusiastic about her house, as she should be. The work she put into it in order to turn it into a bed and breakfast fit for kings and queens is extraordinary. I grew up in Salisbury and I remember this house being abandoned in the mid 90s, it looked very rundown. I still can't get over everything she did to make it what it is now. She treats all of her guests with the same grace and care. I had a wonderful week here and she made sure I had everything I needed. I stayed in the Rose Room, which was very enchanting. The bath was magnificent and the bed was very comfy. There's a really cool music box in the room and beautiful antique furniture. She brought me a breakfast table since I dined in a lot while working on writing projects. I can't recommend her B&B enough. her breakfasts were delicious and she let me take a coffee carafe to my room to enjoy hot coffee in bed. She also gave me a gift of fresh baked cookies and a cold bottle of water when I left. Simply charming!”

“Our daughter’s wedding this past weekend was absolutely PERFECT!! The staff at Oakhaven was very helpful, a delight to work with. The additional housing options allowed our wedding party to stay there the entire weekend and that was so convenient. The venue is gorgeous and we had a perfect weather day to showcase the beauty of the venue, our stunning bride and handsome groom! Our guests kept commenting on how nice the venue was! “We recently found out about this farm from a friend, so we decided to take the kids for a tour of the farm, and to buy some grass fed beef. Tom and his wife were AMAZING! They were so great. They took us on a tour of thier beautiful farm. They both were so informative and knowledgeable. Just talking to them for 5 minutes we could tell that they were so passionate about sustainable green farming and healthy living. We were able to buy a whole bunch of beef from them. The meat is a beautiful dark rich deep red color, and tastes amazing. We could not recommend these fine folks and their farm enough. We will always come back here to support them and there cause.”

“It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for tea at Fearrington House Inn. The food was absolutely beautiful. They were literal little pieces of artwork and they were divine. From the delectable finger sandwiches to the delicate mousse to the devilishly delicious chocolate, every bite was tantalizing perfection. The richness of the food was countered well with the tea. The selections change and range from light to green to dark. Afternoon tea at Fearrington House Inn was a feast for all the senses.”

“Every staff member we encountered was very helpful and courteous. We were fortunate enough to be able to move from one of the campers to one of the cottages. The trailers are just too small for our comfort which included 4 people. We're excited about the water taxi that's coming soon. The only issue we had that was cured by moving into one of the cottages was the cleanliness of the campground bathhouse. I encourage you to focus more attention on the bathhouse. Other than that it was a very pleasant and relaxing vacation. Thank You!”
