“Not bad. Went in Sept 4th to check them out and it wasn't overly busy. Place was clean and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Mac and cheese, pizza, burgers, Cuban sandwiches, ice cream, and so much more. I tried the mac and cheese eggs rolls from the mac house and they were tasty. 3 large egg rolls and some duck sauce that were very tasty. Ordered a burger from Barley and Burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and the toppings weren't overwhelming. The fries were delicious as well. Lastly I got some self built ice cream. It was ice cream, not much to say but not bad. Bathrooms were clean but two stall were already out of order, which is surprising since they've only been open week. Overall, not a bad dining experience. They still have some kinks to work out but since they just opened I'm waiting to give them some more time.”

“This was my first time at Sammy's Tap & Grill. We has a business lunch with 5 of us. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. He made a recommendation based on what one of my co workers was looking for. He was spot on. It is definitely a college bar. “My mother, great nephew, my husband, our son and daughter and myself at here about 3pm. We love irsh food and always went to Squires pub in Southern pines (my mom lives in Vass and my household and great nephew live in SC.) We ordered 2 appetizers (bacon Mozzarella sticks and spinach artichoke dip.) We travel a lot and eat out a lot (we have traveled to 44 of the 50 states) and we agreed the dip was our favorite EVER, the mozzarella sticks were yummy. We ordered a wide variety of items kids sliders meal, Philly cheese steak, cottage pie, Irish chicken, Dublin sandwich, and the Gone to Carolina. We couldn't pick a favorite item. Our waitress Samantha was Awesome and even serving everyone in the restaurant by her self (I would guess about 30 people ) she was on top of things. We enjoyed EVERYTHING about the visit, the restaurant was nice and clean, the bathrooms were clean, the bar looked inviting,the server was awesome and the food was GREAT AND VERY AFFORDABLE. $115 for 2 apps, 5 adult meals, 1 kids meal 5 soda/tea drinks and 1 large glass of wine. We have found our new SPOT to eat out everytime I visit family from Sc which can be 2-3 times a month. I didn't get pictures of everyone's meals but here are a few I took.”

Either way, it's already packed ready to go with chopsticks. Vegan friends - there are options for you! The veggie hot buns and most of the cold noodles are vegan. (I asked/confirmed) Plus the sauce in the bottom of the container that the hot buns sits in was delicious. A little spicy kick. Nice balance with the filling flavors. Omnivore humans - other Google reviewers + my partner recommend the chicken dumplings. He enjoyed the fried texture as well as the flavor of the filling. We will definitely be back.”

“Had lunch today at San Jose, and it was delightful! Wonderful to find decent Tex-Mex in this section of Raleigh. Don't hesitate to get the lunch plates: they're gigantic! The chips and salsa were flavorful and my grandson (only 3 years old) couldn't get enough of the crunch! He liked his chicken tenders, too. “We've been to both locations and love them both. This one is more of a restaurant. Really good food, great beer selection, super friendly staff! We had a few apps and a personal "everything but the sink" pizza. The pizza was AMAZING. The chicken cakes were really good (you get 2 to an order) and the croutons which were just pizza crust pieces and marinara (wouldn't get those again). The Bill and Ted Excellent Adventure Amber Ale is my favorite beer there. We go everytime we're in Raleigh.”

“Very good place for breakfast! I wish it was one in Florida where I’m from. I had the fried chicken biscuit, butter grits, and a strawberry lemonade.The grits weren’t what I’m use too but didn’t take away from the meal. That lemonade is sweet, I had to add some water or let the ice melt. Also I brought my dog some biscuits and cinnamon bun for the road.”
