“When we got there this place had a wait. They did have a couple of chairs at the bar. When asked if we want to sit there we said perfect. The bar tender was polite, and very busy. The games were on, and the bar was full. The wait staff was equally nice and friendly. We had the shrimp appertiser and steak tacos and all the food came out quickly and was really tasty. “Dinner at Okinawa was great. Surprisingly there were very few people there so we were able to get a table immediately even as group of 5. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was great. We did the regular party tray for $85 and it was more than enough for 4 people. I also ate the teriyaki chicken bowl which was also delicious, and had lots of fresh vegetables also. Would definitely eat here again.”

“9/10! My wife and I got takeout from here on a Saturday evening. We got an immaculately prepared pizza with the perfect texture and thickness to the crust and a great balance of sauce and fresh cheese. We also got a vegetarian stromboli (great) and garlic knots (a little overcooked but still flavorful). The dining area looked top notch and the two kids working the takeout counter were very professional. This place is very slightly more expensive than others in the area, but we're willing to pay it for quality. We'll be back!”

“If you love NY style bagels, you must try out Big Steve's Bagels!! We absolutely love this place. Pictured here is the Bacon, Egg, Cheese, and Sausage toasted on an Everything Bagel, Strawberry Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese, and Blueberry Bagel with Blueberry Cream Cheese (my personal favorite!). This felt like a true NY deli that I've been missing for the last year, so it was a great find! There is seating inside if you want to stay, but we got it to-go. Staff was SUPER nice and very welcoming! Can't wait to go back!”

Terrible restaurants around here somehow have higher reviews than this awesome spot This place was nothing short of excellent. Nicely fried chicken sandwich, and great pulled pork and brisket. Awesome BBQ sauce. Collard Greens had amazing flavor and the Mac and cheese was done right, and not gooey. The cukes were nicely pickled. Hush puppies were great Good stuff. Fast service”

“We lucked into this little gem because we were really hungry, badly in need of coffee, and had a long way to go. Had to do the ol’ double-U turn to get there and it was well worth it. Note: as of this time, it is a work in progress. But, what it lacks in decor is made by the gracious and chatty Maliwa, the owner. We had the best conversation while she made us soufflé and sausage with cheese on a flat bread and on a brioche bun. She cooks right in front of you and the banter was priceless. This place is far from our usual travels, but we will find a way to pass this way again.”

“This place was recommended by our tour guide from Corolla, in the Outer Banks as a good simple place for great fresh seafood. We both ordered the fried oysters plate for 18.00 and came with 2 plentiful sides of tasty canned green beans and slaw. The oysters were on the smaller size but fried perfectly and tasty. You order at the counter_ they hand you a buzzer and you go find a seat, when the food is ready- about less than 5-10 minutes, you go back to the takeout window and pick up your order. Simple and efficient and self serve your fountain drinks.”

“We had a great dinner here last night with some friends with a variety of dishes. We got the Frickles and Crispy tots as well forgot to take photos of those. I love very lightly battered pickles and they were, VERY good highly recommend I could have ate the whole basket myself 😂. I got the smothered chicken burrito and it was very LARGE and good, sauce was a little spicy, great flavors. I also had 2 Margaritas that were great. My husband got the burger and a Caesar salad and enjoyed both. My friend got the salmon and said it was very good. We love ale house just finally took the time to review it. Definitely a good spot to hang, watch the game or play some games they have 2 pool tables and a few other games by the bathrooms. They were decorating for Christmas and it's looking good. 👌”

I have lived in Apex for 10+ years and this will be the place I miss most when I move. Very kind staff, clean environment, never crowded, quickly brought out food that is delicious every single time. I adore the crab rangoons, always stuffed full with a thin, crispy shell, with delicious sauce on the side. The yellow curry is to die for, a warm, comforting meal that is incredibly filling and nourishing. I ate here with my family, took friends here, and even dined in alone. I never leave reviews for restaurants, but this is a delicious spot to go. I cannot recommend it enough.”
