“I visited the park for the first time with my dog for a stroll. We enjoyed the long winding path through the manicured park. Bridges crossed wetlands where you could read plaques describing info on animal, flora and fauna you see. There were swings beneath trees to sit and enjoy a respite. Tennis courts, playground, and outdoor workout equipment. Beautiful park and I will be back often.”

“This was a great campground. Loved the tent spots, right on the water. Bill the gentleman who ran it was Awesome!! He felt bad because mother nature tried to run us off, but we rode it out. He brought us a refund and a home cooked meal. It was amazing. I would give it a higher rating if I could.”

“Looks like Spring is coming. Many colorful pots for flowers and plants that will spruce up an up space whether inside or outside they'll look great. The furniture is brightly colored and would be a great accent to any sofa or decor you have. Rocking and swivel chairs. The pots and pans are one of my favorites because my wife and I love to cook. “Walked at Apex Nature Park today. Overall, it’s a beautiful park with some cool things, like tennis courts, soccer field, picket-ball courts, playground. Lots of disc players, so there are signs posted to be aware of flying discs when walking towards the playground from the upper parking lot. We walked on Pine Loop which is only 0.6 miles, and it has some shaded areas and some open areas along the trail. You are also able to access Holly Trail (0.7 miles) from Pine Loop. Pine Loop begins by the soccer field. Holly Trail exits at the upper parking lot, closest to the dog park. The park is dog-friendly. We went today, after a whole day of rain yesterday, and many spots on Pine Loop were flooded. I don’t recommend going after a rainy day if you are planning to explore the trails. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful park!”

“This is a great place for quesadillas! I've tried a few different items on their menu, but their quesadillas are my favorite by far. Everyone I've talked to has been super helpful whenever I've had questions. Anyways - you might spend a few more bucks than you would at, like, a fast food chain - but you're definitely getting what you pay for. The quesadillas are f a t. One could be a whole meal for a regular person with a regular appetite, but I usually get two! They're just that good, and I guess I'm just that fat, haha. They also have Jarritos, which is very swag of them. Seriously, though, they are very nice folks and you should really stop by. And maybe give the ice cream parlor beside it a chance, too!”

“Open every fourth Saturday and Sunday, this little gem is worth the wait. Do you have ancestors from Ramseur or do you love looking at old building's or are you like me and just love all Museum's? Regardless of the why the Ramseur Community Museum is for you. It's got a little bit of everything to, they've got a little bit of military memorabilia, antique toys, antique gardening equipment and so much more. There was even a movie shot in Ramseur called Killers Three and there are memorabilia pertaining to that there. Also if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, the ladies there are very knowledgeable and kind. If they don't know the answer to your question then they will try their best to find out. They are constantly looking to improve the Ramseur Community Museum also so just because you've been there doesn't mean that you shouldn't go back, it could be a bit different from the first time or there could be some new things that wasn't there the last time you went. Remember they are open the fourth weekend of every month. Saturday from 10am - 4pm and Sunday from 2pm - 4pm. If you liked what I had to say please hit the like button and let me know.
