“I originally discovered Strive Mental Health and Wellness by simply walking by this location in Shaker Heights and seeing a sign in the window saying they accept my insurance. Not having a psychiatrist and being so close to my home, I decided to stop in and check it out. What I found was different from a traditional doctors office. I met Dr. Turell the psychiatrist and owner of the practice who runs the place. There was old vinyl records playing and a comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Turell was very friendly and welcoming. I set up an initial appointment where he asked me a lot of questions to get to know me and then prescribed me medication. After a few appointments he introduced me to a service he had available for depression called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) which I had never heard of. Being resistant to many psychiatric medications I decided to give it a try. Dr. Turell was very helpful and professional throughout the sessions I’ve had with him. I definitely recommend Strive Mental Health and Wellness to anyone in the Cleveland area looking to tryout TMS or get involved in wellness programs he has to offer.”

“A lot of people sleep on going to Carl's jr. But this location in particular is really nice because it's next to a vegan place if you have a friend that has that type of a diet. But also every time I've come here the food has always been made super fresh and it's really hot and delicious. It's kind of at the end of a small little shopping center and it has a nice big parking lot around it. Right next to the mall. But the people who work here they are genuinely nice every time I've been there at the drive-thru. And like I said, the food is always really good.”

“I am a very enthusiastic fan of Heartfulness Meditation, and the wonderful and supportive community of people at the Cleveland Heartfulness Meditation Center. While Heartfulness is often talked about in the context of lowering blood pressure, alleviating things like depression and anxiety, and giving one calmness and peace, I also find there is a very strong and substantial spiritual component to the practice that quite honestly gives my life a lot of meaning and joy. Also, Heartfulness is *free.* It does not cost any money to learn the practice, do the practice, etc. And this makes sense to me - I work as a librarian, and do feel, to invoke the cliche, that "the best things in life are free." Also, the people at the Heartfulness are always encouraging, warm, and welcoming. I recommend this Meditation Center with great enthusiasm, appreciation and gratitude.”
