“I consulted 3 plastic surgeons who specialized only on the face and neck, and while their training may have been comparable, Dr. Frankel and his office staff (especially Katie) stood out in terms of making me feel comfortable and reassured. It has been exactly 6 weeks since I had my lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition done and I waited this long to post a review to ensure I did not encounter any unexpected issues. From the initial visit to the day of surgery, Dr. Frankel and Katie were thorough with their communication with plenty of opportunities to have questions answered. The procedure itself went smoothly, I went home the same day and did not need anything more than Tylenol for mild discomfort. There was no pain, but I would describe it as soreness from the expected swelling that occurred. Dr. Frankel checked on my recovery intermittently for the next week and it was reassuring to know things were progressing properly. I slept with my head elevated and went out to dine 8 days after surgery. My eyes look very natural and no one (including my mother and siblings) noticed anything different other than I looked "more rested". For me there were no regrets and the experience was smoother than expected. It was one of those times when I wondered why I waited so long to get things done, but all's well that ends well!”

“My eye exam was fairly quick although it seemed like Dr. Li just did not want to raise the chair at first so I could see the letter chart correctly. Maybe because she's very short but you can't have people down to low or else they'll have to look up when you're supposed to look straight ahead. Other than that things were smooth. I was able to find some decent frames that my insurance would cover. Not my favorite color but I can see, so it is what it is (I've stuck with black for years until now). My new glasses came back within a week or so for pick up, which is not bad at all. Always call to see when they're open, they sometimes tell you something different than what's listed here.”

“I am writing this on behalf of a former patient who is not tech savvy and unable to do a google review. I had her permission to post this review. Her name is Kathy, and she was at another facility on a ventilator. She was unable to be weaned because the facility she was at did not provide that service. She came to our facility with the hope of being weaned off the ventilator, have her trach removed and go home with her sister. She was at our facility for 6 months. With the help of nursing, the respiratory therapists and the pulmonary nurse practitioner she was able to be weaned and went home a month or so ago. She wanted you to know her experience at the Avenue at Broadview Heights was 5 star and feels if the wheels were not put in motion by caring individuals who saw her weaning potential and went above and beyond, she would not be home. She stated she was eternally grateful.”
