“I am a cellist with professional playing skills. I recently purchased a cello for personal use that was 21 years old, but had not been played for six years. I was quite familiar with the maker and knew the general condition of the instrument. But upon receiving the instrument, I learned that the lower two strings lacked focus and the upper two did not have the zing I required. Fifteen minutes with Mr. Alfaro was all it took for him to diagnose the situation. After a neck raise, a higher soundpost, and a higher bridge were installed , the cello roared back to the life I knew it had in it. Upon receiving the instrument back again, Pablo took the time to explain to me the physics of why the cello needed the work it did. He did so in such a manner that I completely understood how the changes were made and why they were necessary. This is my third time that I have visited Alfaro Violins, coming to his shop from several hours away. He does excellent work and I highly recommend him. As well, his shop is conveniently located close to the I-85 / I-285 interchange on the east side of the Atlanta metro area.”

I needed a condenser and compressor; the price quoted was extremely competitive based on industry standards. Ultimately the shop saved me some money by servicing the condenser instead of replacing it. Some shops might have left that fact out and kept the extra money. Integrity is important to me. “I have had my newly installed Rugh's Roof for three weeks now and I am happy to report that I have zero complaints with the installation quality. Zero leaks after several rain and wind events since installation. I worked with Jeremy to set up the install. He was very respectful during and adherent to CDC recommendations in our face-to-face meeting. He was easy to contact and responsive to questions I had during the time from inspection to install process; and he was very helpful working with my insurance company. The roof install crew was very prompt- they showed up at the exact time we were told they would be there. They did a nice job on clean up too- rolling a magnet across the yard multiple times to try and pick up and lingering nails. Rugh's uses the Owens Corning roofing systems. I had the Duration Onyx Black shingles installed (50 year rated shinle), along with a new ridge vent to replace hat vents. All new flashing was installed as well. They also assisted in installing the flashing for four new sun tunnels which I was installing in conjunction with the new roof. Overall they provided a smooth and low stress experience for what I would consider to be one of the major milestone house projects.”
