Although I was sad to have to cancel my trip to see my parents in March, I am SO GRATEFUL that you closed the Kenwood to visitors as early as you did. I was impressed with the letter you sent out before the April holidays encouraging families NOT to take the residents out. I was also so pleased to have a nice video chat with my folks last week! So great you have encouraged this kind of staying in touch. You are doing all the right things to try to keep the community safe in careful and caring ways! I'm writing today especially because some wonderful person (I don't know who), who works on assisted living I presume, did some artwork/writing on my Mom and Dad's living room window a few weeks ago. I want you to know that now, every time I speak with my mom, (or sometimes twice in the same conversation, LOL), she tells me: "Over there on the window in big letters it says 'You Are Loved'. Isn't that wonderful?" This has made my mom so happy! I think and hope that seeing You Are Loved on her window every day reminds her and my Dad that I and others, even though we can't visit, love them so much! This means so much to me and I think to mom as well!!! So special!!! So thoughtful and wonderful!!! Thank you thank you thank you again and keep up the good work!”
