Dollar General

I asked if they have Benadryl. Ken said yes and took me over to where they were and pointed them out. I like that customer service. He didn't point and say "look in the drug aisle." He took me right to them.

It is like the old-school General Store, always has what we need and when we need it. There’s nothing better than having this place right by our home. And good pricing plus competent staff, you cannot beat the value you receive for the cost.

I like dollar general. You can always find what you need and cards are very pretty. Cleaning supplies toiletries are mostly name brand and inexpensive. The clothes are very cheap and cheap quality but in a pinch they work for a day or 2. Easy to park and there is a handicapped entrance. Handycapped space in the parking lot at the concord location on johnnycake ridge rd is pretty far from the door. Rest of locations are fine. The staff however are never friendly and seem so unhappy. I dont care which one you go to they all seem unhappy. Some locations are cluttered and its hard to maneuver the carts around. Stores are well stocked and usually clean. Restrooms require a key but thats ok with me cause they are always well stocked and clean too. I love the food isle and they little trinkets from time to time that change with the seasons.
