“Where do I start? I met the angel Mark Thomas on a Friday in need of a radiator repair in a hurry being from Texas and having just been involved in a crash. He stayed late on a Friday and allowed me to even leave my rig in his yard and stay there for the night. Mark Thomas went above and beyond and has now gotten a new friend. On Saturday he even came and checked on me and again fixed my radiator as I damaged it putting it in. He even let me use his forklift to bend and fix parts and to unload my trailer and load another. Saturday night when I was going to stay in his shop parking lot again and sleep in my truck, he called me and said it was going be too cold and offered me a place to stay at his own house. His wife, him, and I stayed up late that night sharing stories laughing and having an amazing time. What amazing people. He even went as far as to loan me a vehicle so that way if I need to go anywhere I could while we were waiting for Repairs. Mark Thomas and his wife are saints and has a special place in heaven for them. I will never forget their generosity and look forward to seeing them again soon.”

“We were so pleased with the care that our 97 year old Dad received at Keystone Pointe. He was in their Pathways (Memory Care) Unit for several months before he passed. He was well taken care of from the nurses, aides, therapy and the entire staff. He had mostly all the same caretakers day in and day out. How Keystone is able to hang on to the same dedicated staff (some that have been there many years) speaks volumes to their good reputation in itself. They were consistent in providing the same nurses and aides which was very important to our family. Because of this they got to know our Dad well which helped provide better and continuity of care for him, which is more than we can say about two other facilities our Dad was in. The other two places (one of which had a different agency nurse daily and sometimes had no Aides at all) wanted him out as he required more care. Keystone understood his needs and took him in and cared for him like they promised us they would. They also kept us updated on his care and scheduled family meetings to keep us informed and discuss any changes that might help improve his care. Although all the staff was great, we would like to give a special shout out to nurse Melanie who went above and beyond to make sure our Dad was in good hands, right up to the day he passed. She is truly a fantastic nurse as well as a warm, kind person. Also a big shout out to Bernie, the Aide that cared for our Dad often on the evening shift. She also had the kind, special touch that every family would want their aged parents to have. You could tell she truly cared for him and all the residents on that floor. Thank you Keystone! You made the last few months of our Dad’s days very comforting.”

“I use to go in there when I was really young to buy fishing equipment and bait. Caught plenty of steelhead with the jigs they had. Also bought conibear traps that I harvested plenty of rabbits with. The clothes are fantastic I only need one pair of socks when I ice fish. I also got a thermos that I still have that works for hours. I stopped in less than a year ago and still get great feeling when I walk through the door. The customer service has always been fantastic. The old man back in the day gave me a lot of advice and told places that caught me a lot of fish. Thank you for making the outdoors even more enjoyable.”

“I can not say enough good things about this yoga studio. The space is beautiful, warm, inviting, immaculately kept and well appointed with more than just the bare minimum. Students have access to props, cleaning supplies toiletries and even take home yogic literature. No detail is overlooked. The staff operates in the same fashion building every class in a thoughtful way. Hands on assists are offered by all in a way that is respectful to your individual practice as it is, yet helpful in improving form. I went once to try it out on a whim and I have been back nearly every day since. After years of hot power yoga I have found more improvement in the foundation of my practice in just one month of going to regular warm flows at cultivate than I have in the past few years elsewhere. The donations based system makes me feel proud to give my patronage knowing that I may be helping to provide this experience for someone who might otherwise not be able to afford a yoga offering at this level. Shavasana is magical. The gift of a small massage is offered along with the chiming of the most beautiful bells you’ve ever heard. The space hosts regular events that are unique and well done. Cultivate is everything a yoga studio should be.”

“The two young men who installed our shower were kind, patient, hard working, and went above the call of duty. They had to drive all the way to Independence to get the shower. When they unpacked it, they discovered a forklift had punctured it. Without complaint, they loaded it up, drove all the way back and got another one. They still finished on time, and the quality is excellent. They also had a great sense of humor!”
